That being said, it was a pleasant river cruise, and a good lunch. I enjoyed having a beer and watching the river go by. The two wine-tasting experiences were amazing. I got to try out 12 different wines. We also got to see a koala up close haha.

We drove around the city of Adelaide and were given some great suggestions for places to see. We went to Mt. Lofty for a photo opportunity. Then proceeded to Hahndorf. The city is charming and is worth a short visit. - Mark C1 contributionWould highly recommend, our tour guide Paul was lovey, full of knowledge and accomodating. Lamberts winery was the highlight in the Barossa. Hahndorf a nice little village with heaps to do and see.

If you were easy to get a carsickness, you might need to take anti-sickness medication.
It was quite cold along the coast, so a jacket would be essential even in summer.

- Happiness133664244101 contributionWe had a great time on our tour. Paul was our guide and our small group of 10 people were all very nice. Hahndorf was lovely. Our tour included morning tea and lunch, as well as wine tasting at two local wineries. On the way back we stopped at Maggie Beers farm shop and the chocolate factory.

As we were expecting a group, it was a surprise but Sharon provided the full tour and even went over time. Her knowledge and conversation were excellent and we enjoyed seeing some sites not open to the general public visiting Hahndorf. It was very relaxing and informative. - RACARBurwood, Australia11 contributionsWe were a group of 5 people who travelled from Melbourne and booked this tour as part of a 50th birthday celebration. We were supposed to have lunch at Oxenberry Farm wines but due to some unforeseen issue they had to change the venue at the last minute and took us to a cafe in a shopping centre next to Coles. When we should have been drinking wine and looking at a beautiful view, we were drinking water and looking out at a car park.
We would have been happy to eat at any of the other wineries we visited, none of which were very busy but apparently this wasn't an option. Between the 5 of us we paid almost $1000 for this tour and while I understand that unexpected events make changes to the itinerary unavoidable at times, a Plan B more in line with what we thought we were paying for should have been found. We've contacted the tour company privately to express our disappointment and request some sort of compensation for the winery lunch we didn't receive but they keep saying they'll speak to management and no one ever gets back to us. The choice of lunch venue really impacted our enjoyment of the day, and for the company to then ignore our feedback is very unprofessional.
