Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Stephen W1 contributionExcellent place to visit. Lots of aircraft on display. Pictures don’t do them justice. You have to see the real thing to appreciate them. Everything is up close. You can go inside a Chinook, touch a Black Hawk, see how an Iroquois operated. Loads of interactive displays, videos to watch. Display includes uniforms, guns, medals. There’s even a piece from the Red Baron’s airplane.
We spent two hours there, could have easily spent more.
Outside is BBQs, picnic tables, clean toilets, so you could bring lunch and make a day of it.
Best part is it’s free! We bought stuff at the gift shop and made a donation because we couldn’t believe something of this calibre is freeWritten 26 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Best to avoid peak timesWritten 20 May 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BNEnickoBrisbane, Australia26 contributionsDelightful spot to stop, use the very clean facilities, as well as enjoy a very reasonably priced cup of tea/coffee and biscuit. Wonderful arts/craft display and shop with very moderate prices and genuine home-made goods. The ladies were extremely friendly and helpful, giving lots of local information. Great display of maps, booklets, etc on the area.
Would strongly recommend a brief stop in this lovely small town.Written 31 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I wish that I could get more excited about itWritten 22 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
