What travellers are saying
- 261marikapLakes Entrance18 contributionsAbsolutely loved this place. So different to your winery experiences. Go in there and try them all. You can taste 4 then sales are expected, and fair enough.
Don't go by the bottle label. Listen to your host and learn all about pairing even though if I like it I drink it but it all made perfect sense.
As the driver I didn't taste all 11 but mainly because if I asked what you could possibly liken it to, I 100% knew I wouldn't enjoy it. EG like a Pinot Noir. You will be surprised in your mind what you thought you would like to what you will actually enjoy.
I am not a chocolate person and was something I'm sure I wouldn't like let alone purchase. We bought 12 bottles between 4 of us and opted for postage which is really reasonable.Written 12 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MOS13 contributionsSmall market but good selection of fresh produce. Friendly stall holders and a relaxed vibe. Enjoyed a great coffee that used local beans.Written 7 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- melissaandjaredMelbourne, Australia95 contributionsHalf the family did the 4x4 trail riders and the other horse riding. The dad found the 4x4 a little bit tedious, the 12yr old boy loved it, 10 year old girl hated it as she was scared. I didn't mind the horse ride, and my son (7) enjoyed it but found it a little boring. As with all adventures this 2 hour experince cost us over $600.
We came back to days later for dinner and to watch the rodeo. Dinner was excellent value, BBQ meat, 3 types of salads and dessert. $20 adult, $15 for the 12 and 10yr olds and $5 for the 7 yr old. Rodeo was fascinating, bulls appeared to be mostly treated well, saw one man using the electric cow prodder a bit much, otherwise very exciting.Written 26 September 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Unusual mosaic feature behind the altar. Plaque at church about seeds planted from large west indies tree by pioneer but I couldn't see a tree.Written 3 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We met him on a tour to Mossman Gorge and the Daintree Forest. The trip is very short from Port Douglas, and our tour guide Mark, was a cracker - should have his own TV show. Our tour was an indigenous culture and art experience, Daintree Dreaming, and included a 90 minute art lesson from Binna. In my case, i need a few years of his guidance before I would feel confident, but Julie and our other guest proved up to the task as Binna explained his work, and then let us go solo.
Binna is a great host, is deaf and very talented. In regard to his deafness, you have to look at him when talking, and he lips reads with ease.
He explains his approach to art, and of course it looks easy to do. His workshop has originals and prints, and shows the extent of his talents.
Once he lets you go solo, what looks easy becomes a whole new world. I tried to draw a tree I saw during the day, with a climbing vine working its way around the trunk. You are given three colours, and no limits. Strangely, Binna was not keen to place my drawing in his gallery, despite my generous terms.
I would highly recommend this experience for all ages, and enjoyed our learning and our animated discussion about indigenous life in Australia.Written 22 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. She knows what she's doing and is a highly qualified masseuse. You know you are in good hands! I always walk out of there feeling as if I am walking on air.

Despite inclement weather, he took a lot of care to successfully seek out some of our target species. His knowledge of the area and the plants and wildlife, as well as their specific behaviours was impressive. Would recommend to others. - Lib B2 contributionsI am a local and I love Divine Beauty! I go there every fortnight and have facials, massage, waxing, manicures and pedicures. I buy all my face and body products through them and trust their advice implicitly. The girls are delightful, welcoming and are also locals, so you can chat about things to do in the area and around the Far North while you're being pampered. I absolutely recommend a visit or 6 when visiting, you won't be sorry :))Written 26 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Eliza E7 contributionsFantastic experience and welcome into beautiful Cairns. Rob met us at the airport and made the trip great to begin with. He was such a lovely larrikin and character showing us the sights on the way to our accomodation. - Diantha WSalt Lake City, UT137 contributionsWe had a fantastic 1/2 day tour with Doug. He is an expert birder and helped us identify tons of new birds for us in a short time. We explored from the shore into the rainforest. We were really fortunate to observe the Jacana and Paradise Kingfishers for longer times and appreciate their behaviors. Doug personalized the tour immensely. He provided everything you needed—binoculars, field guides and list, water, snacks, tea, coffee. We only had a short time amidst a sightseeing itinerary and Doug maximized it for us. We highly recommend birding with Doug. - JeffRosanna, Australia3 contributionsJuan (and his daughter who was on school holidays) made for a fantastic afternoon. Full of learning new skills, learning about past experiences of indigenous life, eating delicious crab, periwinkles and mud mussels that we caught, and finishing off with a swim in Mossman Gorge.
As Juan said during the day, the tour was a mirror of his childhood - hunt and fish in mangroves and mudflats during the morning, then head into the rainforest for the afternoon.
Highly recommended.Written 18 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
