As a fellow guest it was disappointing to see such a belated and scathing criticism of what I thought we all felt was a great trip.
The guides did a wonderful job of running the trip in quite difficult wind and weather conditions (I believe it was the last trip of the kayaking season).
I recall the problems that David had with his rudder. The guides managed to sort out the issue with a minimum of fuss as I remember.
I felt the standard of the food, consideration for safety, guiding expertise and overall enthusiasm of the staff were exemplary.
I would not hesitate to recommend Coral Sea Kayaking for this trip to anyone interested in this beautiful area.

The Captain and Bosun were very helpful, accommodating and full of interesting facts. - lpwainwrightBerlin, Germany13 contributionsWe had a really enjoyable evening out on the boat - even though the local crocs sadly had a 'night off' from appearing (but it's exciting looking for crocs with the searchlights in the quiet darkness and safety of the boat, knowing you are in their backyard - and not in a zoo). Interesting to hear all the facts and figures about crocs from the guide, Cole, who really knew his stuff, and contrast the 'culture' of the cheese and wine provided, with the bare nature of beasts that have been around since the dinosaurs.
