Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We last visited Sunshine Plaza pre the latest renovations and it is now so much better. All the major retailers in the one location with David Jones, Myers, Big W, Kmart and Target all the under the one roof. Lots of specialty stores all under the one roof. Plenty of good choices after a bit of shopping. Will visit again next time when on the Sunshine Coast.

If you time this right you can walk the whole way on the sand. The beach was al9most deserted on the day we did it. Beautiful clean beach and lovely ocean views

Have been visiting the Sunshine Coast since a child and have not ever visited this little island until yesterday! Great spot for picnics, swimming (no surf), SUP, kayak, jumping off the bridge and generally relaxing. Plenty of trees for shade.
We also walked around the island (as much as possible due to the tide).
Dog friendly (on leash). Will be recommending it for some international guests arriving in April.
It does need more toilets as when we were there only one was available (due to a missing door one one and faulty latch on another).

We had an outstanding gin and rum tasting at Sunshine & Sons. Locky led us through a tasting of all of their products that were of interest to us. He also provided lots of detail about the history and operations. We were so impressed we left with 2 bottles of gin and 1 of rum.

A nice little market for a stroll, lots of different eateries and you can sit down at a restaurant also. There are also a few other stalls but quite small

Wonderful park for all age groups. Walkways, massive play areas for kids, lots of green space to run, sit and play. Also has plenty of tables, seats and bbq's. all right along side the river

This market is held every Sunday morning from 7am in King Street, which is closed off to vehicles whilst the market is on.

There was not a great number of stalls on the day we visited and those that were there were mainly selling craft and artisan made goods of little interest to us. There was one fruit and vegetable stall and one selling honey.

The surrounding cafes were fairly busy so I assume it drags in a number of people.

Only if you have nothing else to do on a Sunday morning.

Lovely park area with plenty of picnic tables and shelters, kids playground and war memorial. Right next to Mudjimba beach with views across to Mudjimba (Old Woman) Island. Plenty of car parking and modern, clean toilet block. Various cafes and holiday accommodation across the road. Next to Power Memorial Park and Mudjimba Surf Life Saving Club.

Loved our escape room experience. We did Area 51 - 2 adults, 14 yr old and 10 yr old. Challenging enough, but the kids could do lots also. And we made it out with 3 mins to spare!
    Thank you.
