Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This tour encompasses ALOT! If you have limited time in Cairns, this is the tour for you. My friends and I enjoyed the river swim the most, along with the beach walk at the end. It is a full 12 hour day, so prepare to be come all day.

This tour was so interesting and fun! Although it was the slower season for seeing crocs, Mark made the tour very engaging and we got to see a couple crocs. We also saw several very cool birds and frogs. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat!

The day was extremely enjoyable. Our guide, Gavin, was knowledgeable and passionate about the area. He made a long day zip past. I would like to say how the day could be shortened but don’t take anything away. We saw crocodiles and all sorts of flora and fauna. Highly recommend.

Really a special experience and learned a lot! The nightlife is very different and fascinating. At night, the Daintree Rainforest becomes alive! We loved it!

Had a great cruise along the river. Learnt a lot about crocs and the eco-system, especially in regard to the cyclones. Even saw a few crocs as well.

The chances of spotting any crocodiles on a scorching January day with a king tide were slim, but Ray went above and beyond, and we were fortunate to see two nesting females. Ray was an excellent tour guide, sharing hilarious stories about his crocodile encounters and life along the Daintree River. Highly recommend!

Loved our day out with Allister and a small group. Very friendly guide with lots of knowledge about the area, flora and fauna. The croc cruise was great and the captain of the boat was amazing at spotting a crocodile in a little creek that no other tour had seen! The lunch was lovely, and the restaurant staff knew so much about the different tropical fruit we tried. We then hiked to a pristine waterfall and swimming hole and were able to spend lots of time there. A very original, well organised and stunning experience for nature lovers that want to go a bit off the beaten tourist track. Highly recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous cruise and insightful tour guide who shared many beautiful stories about the area.

We saw an alpha male croc honing in on a dead pig in the water and got to watch it fish it out of the driftwood and take it to shore to eat! It was such a privilege and the kids were so excited and happy to see something so wild!

Great day out with Alistair as our guide.
We started with a wonderful early lunch at a remote restaurant. Alistair then took us on an easy hike through the forest, stopping many times to educate us about our surroundings. We were lucky to spot lots of Ulysses Butterfly flying around the trees. We ended up at a gorgeous waterfall for a cool refreshing swim, which was he highlight of the trip. A very small and private tour with nobody else around. Highly recommended

Had a great all encompassing day out with Lisa who shared a lot of her knowledge and personal experiences. The tour covered so much more was covered than I expected. Had a lovely hands on visit to see indigenous animals. We then partook in an Aboriginal smoke ceremony and learnt a lot about their way of life from Rodney who spoke with passion.
We visited the rainforest then had a yummy lunch. After a quick stop to view the beach we finished off with a trip on the river spotting crocs. A really great day where even the weather cooperated after torrential rain overnight. Thanks so much Lisa.

A very full day of adventuring throughout FNQ. The Mercedes bus was extremely comfortable, and our guide, Michelle, was knowledgeable and funny. The lunch was lovely, and our many stops were well planned. Definitely well worth the money! We would highly recommend to anyone who wants a great overview of crocs, indigenous lore, beaches and rainforests. Photos and memories to keep with us for a long time!

Best rainforest tour, went for a rainforest walk on private land, then to peaceful Thornton beach and great lunch in the rainforest. Allister went above and beyond to ensure the day was very special. Loved it!
