Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very good! It allows you to see the rainforest differently. I would have loved to see nursery animals especially to protect cassowary their local animal.

Both times I’ve done this tour have been fantastic! I had Mario the previous time and Lawrence this time. The guides are very friendly and knowledgeable. Lawrence kept me and my friend entertained with his Aussie wit and humor. Shame that some parts of the tour were closed due to the recent flooding but obviously beyond anyone’s control. Glad they’re still at least offering a modified tour! My friend was visiting from overseas and also enjoyed the trip. We both highly recommend adding this to your Cairns itinerary!

The tour was well put together and executed, largely thanks to our excellent and thoughtful guide, Mel. Lots of fun and lots of insight about the rainforest were shared.

I was amazed at how much we fit in! Kerry was a great tour guide and we had awesome conversations. Plus for an extra fee I got to hold a koala

Booked this 3 Day package because it seemed easier than doing 3 separate bookings. The GBR experience was wonderful. Even with the rough weather, we enjoyed our time out there. While we saw some beautiful sights and had an excellent lunch on the Daintree Tour, our small group tour exceeded the stated 14 people and the extra pick up and drop offs (as well as time needed to herd 21 people about) made for a less than perfect experience. The train/sky rail to and from Kuranda are breathtaking. However, many of the food purveyors and shops were closed because it was a Monday (?) not sure if this is normal for that time of year or a post-covid fall out.

Our guide Gavin was both very knowledgable and entertaining. The Daintree is such a stunning location and Billy Tea tours made it even better. We'd highly recommend booking this tour.

If you are looking to explore the Daintree forest….do not hesitate to book this tour. Allister is the Australian guide you need. Allister goes above and beyond and is very interesting to talk to, you will get a great insight into Australia life! And the waterfall swim at the end is just the cherry on top of a wonderful day.

The whole day was perfect. Rasa is a thoughtful, knowledgeable and easy to be with person, who obviously loves what she does. We stated off the day at Daintree Rainforest tour with a guide, with Rasa with us showing us additional things of interest and watching out for us. At the Mossman Gorge and Beach, Rasa brought food for the fish, which allowed us to enjoy watching all the fish swarm to eat. After a lunch (with appropriate food for me, gluten free eater), we went to the beach. After the Aboriginal guides taught us how to spear mud crabs, we walked over a great expanse of sand and shallow water. At the end of the walk, the guides cooked the crabs and periwinkles that were caught and we got to taste them. Rasa did not seem to tire of our questions (and there were a lot of the ). It was a wonderful day!

Unfortunately, due to devastation from Cyclone Jasper, my trip was canceled. Despite all of this, Cape Trib Connections was professional and kept in constant contact with me until to last possible moment to see if the trip could be salvaged. When they were forced to cancel, I was offered the choice between a gift voucher for a future tour or a full refund. I can clearly see that the other rave reviews for Cape Trib Connections are well deserved. And while I wish the tour could have happened, high marks are still deserved for how the situation was handled. Thank you so much and I will definitely be booking with you again on my next trip to Queensland.

Such a wonderful experience. We had the most amazing driver who kept us entertained during the whole trip and shared a lot of information about Cape Tribulation and its history. Pick up and drop off were effortless.

The river tour was great and we spotted several crocodiles. Clearly the ferryman has a very personal connection to these animals and it made the trip even more memorable. You could tell how heartbroken he was when he told stories about crocodiles who had to be shot in the past because tourists interfered with them (at night, while being drunk, ignoring numerous warnings) and were subsequently attacked - please stay away and respect the wildlife, people!

The zipline tour was a lot of fun, we were first timers and it was really easy. The instructors were very helpful and patient with everyone. I would say that the zipline tour can be done by most people including children, however, a very basic fitness level is required. Mentioning this because we had a lot of elderly participants in our group who had trouble climbing the few stairs and seemed to be surprised that they had to engage in physical activities at all.

We were also served morning tea and lunch, and stopped at an ice cream factory in the afternoon, they had delicious tropical flavours made from fruit harvested at their own farm.

So many wunderful activities packed in just one day, highly recommend!

This tour is an excellent way to visit one of the best attractions around Cairns in just 3 days. The guides were very friendly and interesting and the meals were tasty. Special mention for the visit of the Granite Gorge where you can feed small wallabies, one of the cuttest experience of my life.
