Supberbly developed tourist walks with low impact to the rainforest. Four easily accessible boardwalks (each show cases the different parts of the Rainforest, to make time to do them all) and a lovely natural Jindala route. Lots to see and appreciate.

Wed di the 4 hour walk and Neil was our guide for the day. His knowledge was incredible about the local area, the culture, the rainforest history, the challenges the area faces and the importance of each and every animal and plant in a rainforest environment . We left feeling so much more informed and aware, an absolute privilege, thank you Neil! We would highly recommend doing this tour, do the 4 hour, take you time and enjoy every bit of it!!

The rain forest really does come down to the reef. Fine beach sand, coconut trees and rain forest makes an idyllic setting. No wonder there are so many tourists, buses and cars in the area.

So much to see and such a well constructed boardwalk. We saw a wallaby, fresh water turtles and plenty of fish. Didn't see any Peppermint Stick insects. Walk takes you through different habitats, and ends up on the beach, which is also nice. Truly worth it.

Great walk, about 1km. Enough different species of plant to keep the kids interested and with some significant changes in landscape along side flowing waterways. Some plant information boards along the board walk for those wanting to learn more.

Fantastic experience. Sam did our tasting and is 3rd generation fruit farmer. He interwove fruit info with details about his very cool grandparents and the establishment of the farm. He included fruit tasting and preparation info with history of that fruits development around the world, marketability along with growing info.

Down to earth, relaxed, small group experience.

As a person with a farming background, it was great to see the realities of farming represented in such a engaging way.
Would absolutely come back again. Don't miss this experience!

We walked from Cape Tribulation Beach over to Myall Beach despite closure of the track (an employee told us it was closed only due to a fallen tree). We had no problems getting around it and the tide was low so no croc issues either. The walk was ready and scenic.

One of the nicer beaches in the area, great views north and south, up to the local hills, looking down to the mouth of Cooper Creek.

A great view over the rainforest to the coast, worth a stop and photo on the drive to Cape Tribulation. Try and pick the timing to avoid a full carpark so you get a photo clear of others.

When I was a teenager I read a book of survival where the main character was lost in the wilderness and followed the path of a creek to civilization, ever since I have wanted the same experience and this hike definately scratched that itch.
You are looking at a minimum 1 1/2 hour hike each way along a stoney creek, it is not an easy walk and my girlfriend turned back after 1/2 an hour (which meant I did an extra hour as I accompanied her back). But you will be rewarded with the waterfall and a swim in the rock pool below.
I didn't see another human or any signs of humanity during this hike and you are totally isolated in the heart of the worlds oldest rainforest.
The hike starts behind the Heritage Lodge however they no longer acknowledge its existence (theres even a sign in the driveway saying it doesn't start there) as they do not want tourist invading their lovely resort. Park on the street outside the lodge and walk in or even better stay a couple days at the lodge.
Make sure it has not been raining heavily before your hike, take 2 litres of water, let someone know you are going on the hike and start before lunch (you do not want to be stuck there in the dark).
    You will love this hike.

We had such an amazing experience... incredible snorkelling - coral was iridescent, saw turtles, rays and all, and friendliest crew and staff ever (Muz, Col & Fede are brilliant). We went out on an overcast and rough day but it was fantastic... this is the trip to book!

We rode the horses through the beautiful forest and on to the beach and even in to the water which was just beautiful! All of the horses were great and we were told many had been adopted from ex racehorsing so they were saved.
The guys were really friendly and chatty, had a pure love for the horses and loved telling you about the environment we were riding in. Great views as well.

We learnt a lot of things about animal and plant life in the forest with our super guide Doug. I highly recommend.

Booked day before for sunset tour only. Changed our minds an hour before due to depart and asked to have the half day tour instead following day. No hassle and changed straightaway. Picked up and dropped off at our hotel by very friendly and helpful staff.
The tour itself was fantastic, snorkelling chilling on the island and the trip back on the boat was all managed to perfection. A brilliant day and excellent value for money.
