Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a fantastic experience. From the entry to the exit plenty of history. I was not there for the art so much as the historical convent. although there are some fantastic pieces scattered through the whole building. The Cafe-restaurant seemed to have a booming trade. The bar at the end of the journey was fantastic. If you are lucky you may encounter the owner who is a very happy and entertaining . She has some great stories to share on her journey from first purchasing and renovating.

Such a beautiful gallery and high quality artwork. The staff are friendly and attentive and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I will gladly recommend to friends and family.

Mineral spring near Lake Daylesford. Daylesford is known for its many springs and spas of which this is one of the main ones.

My wife and I were in Daylesford recently to attend an event called "Borealis on The Lake" and to have a short holiday of two nights.

There are not many places to visit in Daylesford, so we visited the Botanic Gardens for a walk. Upon our arrival on a Thursday morning, there was no one else around, so we decided to walk up this Tower to enjoy the views at the top.

The very narrow and dark staircase only provides one way "traffic", so it is best to visit when there is no one else around. We brought pocket LED torches to see our way during our climb up the dark staircase.

What I have found with Daylesford is that if you can get a carpark in their Main Street, you take it and walk everywhere. Once you have a carpark you are good to go... this is at a roundabout that is busy, but has clear walkways across to it.

The monument reminds us of the residents of Daylesford who died in service or were killed in action in the First and Second World Wars.

Plaques have been added to the monument to honour Post World War Two conflicts as well as a plaque in memory of Sergeant John Cock who was killed in action during the Second Boer War.

You can't miss this on the streetscape, but as to how much time you spend at it... that is entirely up to the individual.
