Fell Foot Park is a delight, from a quiet walk in the park to ensure the autumn colour coming among the trees and the quiet open spaces to the childrens play area the delighted our grand daughter.
What a fantastic place, stunning location, easy access to the lake, a great picnic location, dog friendly, safe for kids, lots of grass for playing on, great kids park.

Only downfall was the annoying flies which is obviously an issue with nature not the school or horses.

The Tarn itself is stunning so if you want you could just park in the National Trust car park, where toilet facilities are brilliant and take a picnic to the shore of the Tarn ands just enjoy the view.
A large car park (for the Lake District) and an easy, well paved path all round the tarn, make this an excellent place to visit, particularly for those who would like some gentle exercise.
