Emily Provincial Park

We had a great time at Emily park! It's close enough to Peterborough that you can drive there for food and activities but it also has a great woodsy atmosphere.
The park is close to Peterborough for dining and shopping, and you can fish or access the Pigeon river/lake from the well built docks.

This park has a gazebo and Inuksuk (rocks arranged on top of each other) where we took pictures.
located in the middle of town Victoria Park is a great place for kids to hang out.
Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Provincial Park

The park offers amazing canoeing, interior hiking trails, swimming, fishing and interior camping.
In the southern end of the park you can enter by portage through Head lake which will lead into the Head river, this will require a canoe and some portaging over land so be prepared.
