#1 of 9 Nature & Parks in Smithers
The falls are a short, uphill walk from the car-park so you do need to be fairly fit, but it is worth it when you get there.
Only plan a 30 minutes up and down the basic trail and let the nature play its trick on you.
#2 of 9 Nature & Parks in Smithers
You can park on the highway side to just watch ... or go across the bridge and park on the other side to walk down to the fishing spot.
#4 of 9 Nature & Parks in Smithers
Tyhee Lake Provincial Park includes a beautiful lake for swimming, boating, and nature viewing.
OH, the park was beautiful and wish I could have stayed longer.

#8 of 9 Nature & Parks in Smithers
We bike to the park from Smithers in about 90 min, which was a great workout on its own.
If you are interested in viewing fossils, then visit this provincial park, of course without taking anything away.
