Please include Chateau Tanunda on your visit to the Barossa! We popped in and were fortunate to be seated for a tasting, after a wander through the cellar door. Larry was a wonderful host, informative and professional, very friendly.
The wines were incredible, we could have purchased most of them but the Grenache in particular was gorgeous. Make time for a wander through the grounds, it’s very special.

Rockford winery is a great little winery with excellent staff. Jenna was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and generous with her time. The wines were nice and we loved the Shiraz VP.
The buildings are old and beautiful.

A must place to visit. The food was fantastic, we had the shared platter, and the quality of the food was great as to was the wine. The location was lovely and the views stunning with the history of the Winery and the work that went into creating a simply great place. A special mention to the staff as they are very helpful and know so much about the Pindarie Winery. It was my wife's Birthday and our first visit but definitely not our last. Thanks again for a great lunch.

Sought out this place, just to the east of Tanunda, based upon an excellent bottle of wine we had sampled back home.

The winery and cellar door present well and provide a comfortable, relaxed venue for wine tasting. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable.

Wines available for tasting were excellent: we were fortunate enough to be offered a tasting of a more exclusive Shiraz not usually available for such : wonderful.

A very enjoyable wine tasting: tried a good selection of their range. We splurged a bit here - well worth it.

Lovely vineyard in a picturesque setting on a hillside overlooking the Barossa valley. The tasting was informal and friendly and the wines are good value for the exceptional quality.

We happened upon Turkey Flat Vineyards when we booked accommodation on the same road. We felt like we’d discovered treasure when we walked down to the gorgeous cellar door area.

The wines and other drinks on offer were offered with gracious hospitality by the knowledgeable James who knew loads of history of the area as well as about the wines. Thanks James you made our day.

We had no intention of visiting a winery while in Tanunda but we were close by Peter Lehmann Winery so decided to spend a day out there. What a wonderful experience. The grounds are lovely and it was mid week so hardly any people there. Plenty of room to park and the grounds and gardens are beautiful. We had a wander around inside and read the history of the winery then ordered a couple of drinks and a lovely platter and sat outside under the vines to enjoy our food and drink and take in the beautiful surroundings.
Highly recommend spending a morning or afternoon here just relaxing with a couple of drinks and a lovely platter.

A unique experience below the barrels in Tanunda. Jody made us feel very welcome and introduced us to a range of Burge family wines that proved themselves to be of high quality upon tasting. We’ll worth a visit.

On our self guided tour we had a hire car and selected a small selection of wineries to see.
We had been to this winery on our honeymoon in 1988 and bought a case pf various reds and bought more over the years. Lovely full bodied wines that have lasted well in the bottle. We had just had our last 1997 Nine Popes so needed more.
The cellar door has moved and is now a more rustic venue. One other couple tasting as there area seems to be very quiet and devoid of tourists.
Young taster master was very knowledgable and extremely enthusiastic. he made the tasting very enjoyable and an unrushed experience.
There is a tasting fee waived if you but which we did. Need to to top up and we found that they still make great wines even if they are more expensive.

Great setting, we had an excellent platter lunch and tasting of half a dozen wines plus the delicious scrumpy cider.
Have a case of wine on route to Sydney now - lovely venue and great sport for lunch and tasting

    Pros:
    - some of the best service we’d received all weekend in the Barossa. The lady and gentleman working Sunday morning 25/6/23 deserve a pat on the back!
    - great little range of tastings… regular, premium
And choc tasting! No fuss with our group having various!
    - delicious array of Shiraz to try! Very helpful explanation and discussion around French/American Oak and it’s influence.
    - Heaters were on, music was on, we felt right at home!

    Cons:
    - the ‘placemats’ that your tasting come on are totally fine, I just feel a little underwhelmed! Perhaps stepping those up would increase the elegance of the tasting that so evidently comes through the wines!

Thanks for a fantastic visit. If this wasn’t our final stop on our way out of the Barossa, we would have ended up leaving with a lot more!!!

Andy from Experience SA Tours allowed us to tag along to a wine tasting at Soul Growers as we missed our chance the day before due to Chinese New Year celebrations!
Sorellabella was a very knowledgeable host and gave us loads of history that we hadn’t heard on previous wine tastings. Made for a very informative wine tasting.
Wine tasting itself was very generous and we were even able to try things that weren’t on the agenda.
We loved her humility at the selling point of the session and joined on the spot. We are from Sydney, so already have a couple of membership with Hunter Valley vineyards, but we were so impressed with our visit.
    Couldn’t recommend more!

Great wine firstly, a family business that prides its self on providing a quality product and a front of house family member explaining the process of making their meads ports and other wines. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
