My partner and I visited for a wine tasting and decided to share a cheese & wine and a chocolate & wine tasting. We were delighted to have been gifted a double chocolate tasting for the price of one, as well as large wine pours (amazing as it meant not halving a small piece of chocolate). Both tastings were incredible - I’m a cheese lover and he’s a chocolate lover so we both left very happy! The wines were beautiful - especially the Pinot noir chardonnay. Service was exceptional. Thanks Taylors!

Rocked up here unannounced late on a Wednesday afternoon, the only ones there. Our host was generous with his time and helpful advice for other places to see and visit while in the Valley, including other Cellar Doors. High knowledge of his product. Sadly, Grosset was sold out of a lot of their best wines which we can’t blame them for. This was our first Cellar Door visit in Clare. It wasn’t the best or most impressive, but it certainly got the trip off to a good start.

Aim for sunset to take full advantage of the lookout. Be delighted by an abundance of deer roaming through the bush with the kangaroos. More signage would be appreciated - it took a few wrong turns before finding the Sevenhill Hotel.

Had a really enjoyable walk around the historic town of Auburn. Some classic old buildings. Was surprised to learn about C J Dennis. It’s also the start of the Riesling trail. The Rising Sun hotel looked interesting but it was to early to visit

    Lovely
We had a coffee latte and scones. Was a beautiful place to visit with a lot of things to do. Sat outside and enjoyed the gum trees and the weather was lovely

We really enjoyed our visit. Beautiful setting on a large property. The wine was very good- both Koonowla and Georges. They also do platters - a good selection of cheeses and meats in the self-serve fridge. Friendly, efficient knowledgeable service by Talia.

Winery in main street of Auburn. KT is well known for her riesling but the reds were great too. Two flights offered, refundable on purchase. Petri was a knowledgeable and entertaining host. . Highly recommended.
