Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Fl YHong Kong, China21 contributionsAustralia's 'bush fly' Just visited Australia in Nov 2023. I visited Australia at least once a year. The 'bush' flies usually cause problem in bush areas. But now they disturb you in nearly most country side. We visited the The Nature's Window, Wave Rock, Pink Lake, Mandura Giants, Gnomes Ville, Great Ocean Road, Hutt Lagoon, etc. Nearly in every place, the flies made us difficult to stand still to take a photo. I am afraid that in the near future, if the Australian Government still take no severe measure to control the flies, they will affect the tourism industry and local people. When the flies finally need to spread to the cities, it will be too late.Written 26 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AlbanyRickAlbany, Australia2,030 contributionsI walked the Bigurda Trail, which is a 8km hike, starting at the Natural Bridge and going to the Eagle Gorge. I walk fairly fast, and it only took me a bit over 90 minutes, but most people should allow 2-3 hours. I had a vehicle pick me up at the end.
Most of the trail is just rough gravel, and you'll need sun protection and water. Most of it is right on the edge of the cliff-top, and views are spectacular. Highly recommended!Written 7 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It just off the road to the left as you drive into Kalbarri from the Geraldton side and as luck would have it, it was the first thing we did when we arrived in the area, picking it almost at random from the many opportunities to turn off the road. Well, what an introduction to Kalbarri!
The red cliffs are so vibrant when set against the azure blue of the ocean and on our visit, the perfect blue of the sky.
The walkway is easy and loop along the clifftops. You get great views out to see and along the coast to Kalbarri town itself. There is plenty of parking and also quite a few info boards telling you about the flora, fauna and history of shipwrecks.
Stunning place and a sit is not inside Kalbarri National Park, it is completely free to do.Written 20 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s very photogenic and makes for a great insta post but it’s a challenge to get too down steep sand dunes with no real access.
The shore line is crusty and dirty so no white shoes!
Looks fab though and time of day is really important for ‘that’ photo otherwise the water looks blue like a normal lake…Written 21 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Other than that, definitely well worth a visit.Written 23 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CatherineStevens59Byron Bay, Australia19 contributionsWe spent the afternoon here. Beautiful clear water with small swells breaking at our feet. Calm enough to enjoy a swim without struggling with waves although it was great watching the waves breaking on the rock shelf out further.Written 23 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - smithnzChristchurch, New Zealand298 contributionsDefinitely worth buying a pass and going into the park, doing the various walks. Having plenty of water is essential with the heat.
The 'window' is very popular, and abit tricky to get to, having to walk down stairs, to a path, followed by making your own way over rock 'steps'.
We were fortunate that there were few people one we reached the part where you pick your way down and up the rock layers that are steps, as I would not want to be doing this with significant people trying to get to the window and others returning.
Good balance and a a lack of fear of heights is recommended, along with non slip shoes or sandalsWritten 26 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Kalbarri is full of these gems, lookout points and trials along the cliffs. Eagle Gorge was lovely, the sea was rough so plenty of spray below but the blue skies and sun made the day just perfect.Written 20 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bozeman-DublinTrim, Ireland8,858 contributionsWe loved the Ross Graham Lookout. I wouldn't say it is off the beaten track, not at all, its a short drive down a sideroad in Kalbarri Natinal Park but is well signed and the road is excellent. No, its just that most people tend to go to Nature's Window and Z Bend -and rightly so -but not as many come here.
But they a re missing out! Amazing views of the river below and on our visit there were plenty of Kangaroos hopping about down there.
We stayed for ages just drinking in the peace and quiet and it turned out to be one of our very favourite stops in Kalbarri N.P.Written 20 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is a little bit less visited than some of the bigger spots like Z Bend and Nature's Window but we absolutely loved it. Like the nearby Ross Graham Lookout, it is very peaceful and quiet with stunning views of the river below. It is a short drive off the main road through the National Park but the road is good and there is a car park at the trialhead.
A very easy walk to the lookout point over the river, perfect peace and quiet ensured. Loved it.Written 20 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
