Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Skita007Perth, Australia6 contributionsWent for a snorkel, well worth the visit, fresh clear water, waves crashing in the distance but amazing fish swimming in this spot 🙏🏼🌊💕Written 7 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BradHong Kong, China175,223 contributionsLocated just across the street from The Pelican Cafe in Kalbarri is the Pelican Feeding Point. You'll find a half-circle of seating benches where around 8.45am each morning a volunteer will come by with a bucket of fish to feed wild Pelicans awaiting the designated feeding area.
The volunteers give around 10-15 minutes of information about the pelicans, their feeding and habitation activity and let the little ones feed the pelicans. Seems pelicans are not always around. On the morning we visited, we saw a couple arrive around 8.15am. They just hang around the area until the designated feeding time.
Note: There is a donation box if you want to contribute to the community volunteer pelican feeding programme.Written 24 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. On our visit with the bright sun above the contrast between the red cliffs and the azure blue of the sea was just breathtaking. There was enough of a breeze too to make the waves crash against the base. Some lovely walks in the area, well maintained and well marked.Written 20 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
