Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The swim/snorkling was absolutely amazing, so many fish - just walking in - at knew height there were darts and huge spangled emperors then on the reef so many amazing colourful fish - it was mind blowing

We stopped up here on our 90 mile circuit of the 2011 UNESCO Ningaloo Coast.
Just beyond the 1912 40’ lighthouse is a circle of information signs about the facing view: the 1907 wreck of the 320’ cattle steamer SS Mildura, the 1943 WW11 Japanese raid that hit the radar tower and the 13 505’ US Navy antennas providing transmission to Allied ships in the western Pacific and the Indian Ocean.
Now onto the fine beaches of the Cape Range National Park.

Yardie Creek marks the end point of the Cape Range Drive, essentially the road runs out here. It is a lovely spot with boat cruises available on the creek, though we didn't do that.
Instead we took the waymarked walk to the side of the creek out to the viewing platform. It is a very easy walk, not long at all, well paved and only slightly uphill.
Loads of Wallabies there on our walk, so tame that they would happily sit by the path and look at you. As long as you don't move suddenly they make no attempt to run away.
Lovely views of the creek and valley too. A nice walk after driving all the way from Exmouth.

The Ningaloo Reef and coast is just magnificent. We drove up to Exmouth via Coral Bay and had quite a few days on beaches and snorkellingv9n the reef.
The reef is majestic, just teeming eith life...rays, fish, shark and coral.
Turquoise Beach in Cape Range was our favourite beach by a long way but there are several other gems, all quiet and untouched.
A real life-experience to spend time along this wonderful stretch of cosst. A special few weeks we'll never forget.

The Osprey Bay camping area is situated roughly 65k’s south of Exmouth townsite on the west coast of the peninsula. They are 2 sets of caravan park bays (loops) and day parking area. Facilities are limited, but are of good quality. There 3 sets of composting toilets, some aluminium park benches to the north end and a fairly big covered area for day tourists and campers to use in the centre. One caravan bay loop is for those with generators and the other without. Bays are well spaced, with mostly large limestone based pads. There is no power or water available and the site is managed by camp hosts who were most helpful.

Booking is essential and is available on the DPAW website under “ Cape Range National Park” heading (there are other camping areas on the same stretch of coast as well).

All in all a very good experience although it is hot in February.

We visited Sandy bay to make a change from Turquoise Bay.

That was a good idea. This is a fantastic beach.

I don't think I have ever seen such an expanse of clear aquamarine water anywhere in the world.

It was also protected from waves by a reef.

It's a wonder of the world in my opinion

Wowwww. The crew were the best I’ve had on these boat trips. It makes such a difference. Mostly female crew and skipper which made it super organised, calm and really enjoyable. Have heard to many stories of things not being the best on other operators and a bad experience myself it took away any anxiety or worry from our group. Even someone who had hardly ever snorkelled. Seeing 5 different whale sharks across 7 swims was obviously a massive bonus and not guaranteed. Even without that the day was amazing. Thanks so much to Lizzie and her crew!

Our whole day was amazing, from the immaculate boat skippered by Bill and the amazing girls for all their information, engagement and enthusiasm. We spent the full hour with the beautiful whale sharks, swam with a manta ray, turtle as well as the amazing lagoon snorkeling. Lunch was great, this far exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend doing any tour with Kings, efficient, professional and caring team who makes the day such a beautiful experience.

We had an amazing day swimming with whale sharks with the highly professional and tight-knit crew from Ocean Eco Adventures. I was amazed at how the crew organized all us tourists to get in and out of the water, steering us along the path of whale sharks and making sure everyone had their photo taken. As a bonus, we got to opportunistically jump in to see an oceanic manta ray which had appeared a bit before the typical season. Thanks Ocean Eco crew!!

We had a series of massages booked for the family and all of us had a very relaxing and tranquil experience. Harriet was a lovely and helpful hostess and our therapists Pablo and Thi gave us each a massage that was tailored to our individual needs. My shoulders have not felt this good for a long time and I'm so glad we took a morning off the "holiday" to relax a bit more.

Made the long drive from Perth totally worthwhile. Wonderful morning watching the creatures of Ningaloo Reef both from the boat, excellent boat skippering Caitlin, and in the water with mask and snorkel, all provided. An abundance of fish on the reef just like swimming in an aquarium, only 10 times better. Craig provided an insight into the area on our short trip from town to the boat in a air conditioned bus and is clearly passionate about the environment and his boat. Caitlin, a marine biologist makes science interesting and fun bringing an added dimension to a wonderful trip. Thanks guys for a once in a lifetime experience.
