Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Chung L3 contributionsIt is a great place to be with family. Children will enjoy the attractions, no que, not crowded, prices are reasonable. We love this place! Will visit again.Written 27 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- stevenjbCambridge, UK205 contributionsWe paid £19 a ticket for the return trip on the cable car and included entry to both the theme park and water park on Hon Thom.
Personally think this is brilliant value as the cable car alone was worth the ticket price. The one-way journey lasted approximately 15 minutes and provided spectacular views over the southern part of the island.
Going on a Monday probably helped as well as the cabin we had on the way out was empty so we were treated to unobstructed views the whole way.
One thing to point out is to watch out for timings. There are periods where the cable car doesn’t operate throughout the day so check the website before travelling down.
All in all a brilliant day out was had here and would definitely recommend!Written 6 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great place for all ages and it was great to see all the animals active and living in well designed habitats. Lots of different animals to see and interact with. Feeding the elephants and giraffes was an absolute highlight (and so cheap) and loved every minute of my time there.Written 14 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lynsey yuan LynPhu Quoc Island, Vietnam1 contributionBeautiful beach and natural pool for people to swimming. Water is too warm for this season. And sand fleas is A BIG PROBLEM!! We visited Sao beach and Khem beach for 2 days, and I got at least 35 bites all over the legs and arms!! Don’t know if the bugs are just active seasonally or during the whole year. The bites are big and they itchy like crazy, lasted for many days… BE CAREFULWritten 30 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BrakiWorldTravelerBelgrade, Serbia20,006 contributionsThis is the island capital market, live day and night. You can buy groceries, smoothies, fruits, nuts, coffee, street food,....you name it.
Besides that there're many souvenir stalls with tourist trinkets, fake clothes, bags, sneakers,... Haggling is a must.Written 31 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The ones there were very nice but well overpriced. Also a tip don't stop on the beach in front of the Mariott you will be moved on in seconds I was actually only on my phone. The last thing to say is beach okay but no local atmosphere.Written 12 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
