Can’t recommend enough that you visit here. The boat ride out to see the dolphins is just amazing - stunning scenery. We visited the German cafe nearby afterwards and that was also a gem.

It's worth spending one hour strolling around. It's not a tourist market, it's for local, so more enjoyable.

You may spend an hour in side. There is T Rex, Pagoda, Guan Yin rocks and etc. We got a local guide which explain a lot of information. But for foreigners better to bring your translator.

This beach is super natural. No tourist. No bangalow nor resort. Next time, I'll over-night at this beach. A full moon day should be best time.

we found kwang pao beach maybe 14 kilometer in the north of khanom it is well posted from the mainroad.
the beach itself is formed like a halfmoon and fine sandy. some resorts and beachbars are located in the back, but it seemed that not very much tourists found the road to kwang pao beach. it was realy empty and we were the only white tourists we saw. at kwang pao beach...generelly on the different beaches of the khanom area mosty thai people take their holidays. this depends on the cheap prices for resorts and restaurants, which sill exist in that region.
we had wind and waves and we just moved hippdeep into the water, but it was deep enough to write that the beach slopes gently to the sea and so kwang pao is perfect for families with small children.
the beach is well protected...at the northend are cliffs located...at the southend theres a pier with a few seafood restaurants and shops. the vegetation directly on the beach is reduced, because behind the resorts and restaurants a beachroad is located. a umbrella should be in the morning till the afternoon in the beach luggage.
in the later afternoon shadow spaces are available enough.
the atmosphere at kwang pao beach was realy silent and paeceful. we were alone at the beach the whole time under a shady tree and enjoyed the silence and the sound of the gulf of siam.
kwang pao beach is s very nice place for shellcollectors. during lowtide we found a lot of beautiful shells and mussles of different kinds and we were very proud about our collection.
we can recomment kwang pao beach very much. it is a beautiful silent beach with a very high grade of relax. the question is how long this will be the case, because in a few years the area of khanom and it´s beaches will be touristic explored without question.

This was really nice visit after a tour of other places in Khanom, so dip in the cooling water was more than welcome.

Might require some walking, depending of the car / scooter as the road is in bad shape.

There is a damn wall build to gather the water so there is place to swim. So really easy to access the water.

Suan Ta San is a great location for families to spend time out in the countryside having fun and also get a foot exfoliation! A fun play area often visited by local families, Suan Ta San Fish Spa can be jam-packed but we arrived as it opened so had free rain of things. Kids will be happily swinging across ropes into the waters, having a splashing good time while the grown-ups were resting their feet in the fish spa area along the stream flowing from Cho Waterfall. There are gift shops and restaurants on site.

After buy the ticket to Koh Phangan I still have time around 1.30hrs. Where I have to go!!!

My friend suggested me to Suan-Tasaan because just far from Raja ferry around 10kms. I ride to there and let’s enjoys.

Turn left from the road I can see Durian Mangosteen and Palm garden look nice. Pay ticket 20 bath for entrance and good welcome from the owner.

Big green space side the small canal that is the real natural. 2 part of the area, left side for fish nibble feet and right side can be swim. The place have a good take care it’s cleaned. Food and drink serve.

I recommended for someone want to try real natural fish nibble feet.

We live in Khanom. This is a quiet village in the south of Thailand, which is famous for its deserted beaches, lack of tourists and pleasant proximity to the iconic islands of Koh Phangan and Koh Samui.
The main attraction of Khanom are pink dolphins - throughout the city you can find their statues and images. The pink dolphin itself is the symbol of the city. But the fact that pink dolphins can be easily met in the sea, I could not even dream of such a thing. Now I'm dreaming, because Khanom is the place where they sail.

I also learned that Pink Dolphins are born gray and gradually become pink with age. The pink color first appears on their stomachs, and will eventually spread throughout the dolphin. So the older the dolphin, the pinker it is.
