The team provided exceptional service, ensuring every detail of our journey was perfectly planned. We explored stunning landscapes, visited iconic sites, and immersed ourselves in the local culture. - Faccio dGermany12 contributionsOur boating experience at Attabad Lake in Hunza Valley was truly exceptional. The lake, formed after a massive landslide in 2010, is a breathtaking sight with its vibrant turquoise waters that contrast beautifully against the rugged mountains. As we set out on the boat, the stillness of the lake was calming, and the surrounding natural beauty made it feel like we were in a remote paradise. The cool breeze and the serene environment added to the tranquility of the journey.
The boat ride allowed us to explore the lake from different angles, offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including the majestic Rakaposhi and other towering mountains. The water was so clear that we could see the reflections of the mountains on the surface, making it feel like we were gliding through a mirror.
Along the way, we passed through small islands and observed the local boats used by the residents for fishing and transportation. The experience was not just about the scenic beauty but also about connecting with the culture and environment of the region.
Whether it was the peaceful atmosphere, the stunning landscape, or the excitement of exploring this unique destination, the boating experience at Attabad Lake left us with lasting memories of one of the most beautiful places in the world.Written 2 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We bought a ticket for 100 PKR, walked for few minutes to reach to the bridge. Many restaurants, cafes and souvenirs shops on the way. We met with many local teachers with their students cleaning the trash to keep Hunza clean and green. The suspension bridge is unsafe especially in a windy day like today. It's too long, shaking with big gaps between each step and the other. Unable to reach to the middle.Written 17 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Roazita MBangkok, Thailand56 contributionsTraversing through the road as you approach the summit of these mountains. - Haytham Abu FirasQatar21,546 contributionsShort stop at Passu Glacier viewpoint. It's 20 km long and spread over more than 100 km square. Passu peak is over 7000 meters. - KciffFox Island, WA1,002 contributionsThis small lake is a wonderful bird watching location. I noticed a small camp at one end of the lake it might be worth checking out - just make sure their plumbing isn't going into the lake! The drive there is along a small dirt road with hairpin turns. There is a restaurant that makes for a good tea stop on the lake. They also have some rooms. The views of the mountains are limited from there but lovely. Driving up past the lake to the Passu glacier and walking along the edge of the glacier is a treat - it isn't often can you be so close to a glacier.Written 15 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Zartaj SKarachi, Pakistan50 contributionsOur guide, who was a local of the village gave us a detailed tour. It is pretty amazing how there are still families living there without modernising it (as it is a Heritage Site). They were really hospitable & let us into the homes to view it from the inside. Please don't resent the entry charges to any of these places..they are used towards maintaining themWritten 5 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
