Beautiful stretch of beach with lots of pubs & bars where guests are seated on bean bags on the sandy beach, It is very vibrant at night with lively music. There are many foreign tourists here.

Nice beach, lots of choice for beach bars and restaurants with live singers (with varying degrees of talent!) The sea is too choppy for swimming but great if you want to surf. I loved all the coloured beanbags and umbrellas everywhere. And we rented probably the most comfortable sunbeds I’ve ever had on a beach

Very interesting place to visit, with local artists showcased. The hostess was very knowledgeable and passionate.

Great selection of art in a popular location.

We had a fantastic experience at Purpa Fine Art Gallery. Sebastien was friendly and knowledgeable and, although we didn’t meet his lovely wife in person, Ari was very communicative via WhatsApp and oversaw the framing of our art efficiently - in fact, this was probably the only time something in Bali was actually done ON TIME.

    Highly recommended.

My husband and I stopped at Folkart Gallery because a friend had recommended it to us. Once inside our senses were bombarded with every possible object imaginable from countries near and far. There were alters, pottery, fabric, tapestry, jewelry and carvings just to name some of the exquisite and rare pieces to be found, all reasonably priced. Everything was authentic and nothing had the look of mass production. Every single corner of the shop holds something interesting or beautiful and you should take your time and drink it all in. I wish I had taken pictures, but the beauty lives on in my memory.

I was quite intrigued to find so many art galleries in a place like Bali. However on second thoughts I realised that with livelihood so cheap and affordable here I am sure slot of expats and foreigners have made this place a second home. And in doing so why do the artists need to stay behind which resulted in mushrooming of so many Art Galleries in the beach town of Bali.

I stepped into 'Positive Negative Visual Gallery' as it was in Seminyak itself where I was staying and I loved the fact that this quaint gallery attracted so many visitors. There were plenty of paintings on display and the host was mingling with all with elan. I was glad I visited this place. It is certainly one off the beaten track.

We walked past this place on the way to dinner, it was closed but the beautiful displays in the window stopped us in our tracks! The next day (and our last day in Bali) we went back as we fell in love with one of the artworks.
The team were so lovely and happy to give us the time to make a decision about what we wanted. The artwork we chose was stretched on a frame and they took it off and packaged it beautifully for us to take on the plane ride home.
Great artwork, great staff, I would highly recommend a visit! If for no other reason just to see some beautiful works.

Good but tiny shopping plaza. Located centrally in Seminyak area of Bali.

Some limited international brand shopping choices here.

What really helps is that the plaza is centrally well air conditioned and it’s very useful with the weather in Bali.

Upstairs being refurbished, shopping mall area a bit weird, not much in there, bakery is good, once works have been completed I think it will be ok again. Surf shops down the bottom quite over priced eg: simple
Men’s volcom hat was $90 Aus. Ok to have a stroll through when in Seminyak but not a highlight.
