we are fortunate enough to have a mountain in our back garden that we can climb, see birds, wild flowers and enjoy all the splendour that mother nature has to offer
I love the Nature Reserve either for a fun family stroll, game or picnic, or for a quiet walk, or even to do my sermon prep - I even have my own little "office" under a tree up there!!

Only downside was that many of the smaller animals were sleeping so we didn't get to see them but hey, that's nature for you

There is a play park and a putt putt course.
It's nice to see that efforts are being made to improve the sidewalks, and the water park is a nice new feature.

We also visited the adjacent Snake Park and were blown away by the specimens, in all my years this must be the best exhibition of snakes that I have seen.
I must say that it is kne of the best nature and animal sanctuary parks in Cape Town.

The raptor show was quite amazing and with the safety of a leather glove having a raptor perch on your arm and give you that unblinking look is akin to meeting Mother Nature herself.
From the car park you walk left instead of right to the wine tasting and restaurant areas.
