Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We really wanted to see this museum and we were not disappointed. We took an Uber from the Wynn. We bought just basic tickets for the museum. There were other choices, but we decided this would be enough for us. It was quite busy and lighting not the best. Some parts were more interesting than others, but the building is historical, and the exhibits were good. Lots of history of the city and famous people.

We spent about 2 hours then walked to Fremont Street not far from the museum.
It's a nice way to spend a couple of hours away from the strip.

    Well worth the enter fee!
After dark you can see a good proportion of the refurbished old original Las Vegas neon signs lit up in all their splendor. Their history is also available to read on the history plaques adjacent to the sign.
All-in-all, the best time to go is after sunset!

This was a fun little break from the strip. The washrooms were spotless and staff was very friendly. We spent 1 hour here and only $10! A lot of the games are from our childhood.

The staff were kind and friendly. The museum itself seemed kind of cheesy. There were plenty of things in rooms on the wall that you could not see because it was too dark. The “proof” of haunting was questionable. Maybe we just aren’t into it like others.

Shelby American is a great little factory and museum. We loved wandering around here and we took loads of photo's. It's a free walkaround if you do not want to do the paid tour. The staff were friendly and helpful, and you can spend as much time as you like looking around. Even the merchandise in the shop is reasonably priced and they have lots of Shelby merchandise you can buy.

A large property so you can do a lot of walking even if you take the tram to Boomtown. In fact after all the walking I wasn't up to seeing the Nevada Museum. I am sorry I missed it, but my explorations took time and energy. I especially liked seeing the botanical gardens, butterfly display, and solar house. The waterworks, located by Boomtown was interesting but bland. Boomtown was a re-creation and only one house was available to tour. The "businesses" were open. So, a person who has not seen this type of display can spend more than a little time checking it out. The tram picks up from Boomtown every half hour or so. It saves time and energy. But, if you have plenty of energy there are trails to hike and explore.

We walked to the museum from the Strip. It was interesting to visit, giving lots of information about Las Vegas's role in atomic testing. It's self guided.

Absolutely wonderful exhibit and very moving. There’s over 700 artifacts and several mockups of dresses with a ton of hand written correspondence, that is framed for the public to read.

All of the good things in previous 5* Thrilla Villa reviews are true!
My parents got me interested in Liberace’s music as a child. I learned so much about Liberace during this glimpse into his life!

Jonathan Warren had so much knowledge and enthusiasm in conducting the tour. As someone who has sewing experience, I loved seeing Liberace’s costumes with the hand applied sequins, crystals, and lights ( before the invention of LEDs). You have to see the costumes up close to appreciate the detail and hours and hours of work each one took.

    Loved tve tour.

This is a really cool place. There are tons of different rooms to explore, and the whole place is really pretty. My husband and I had a blast. The deduction of rating is for two things: the advertising makes it look better than it really is (although it is really beautiful and psychedelic), and the cost/value. It is a really unique experience, and I would suggest others check it out themselves as we had a lot of fun.

I went by myself and Alise can to my rescue. She is an employee that realized that I was by myself and couldn’t get the fun pictures and do the illusions without some one else helping me. She jumped right in after noticing my dilemma and went back through with me taking some great photos that I could share with friends and family. Thank you Alise!

My husband is a huge punk rock fan, and this is the coolest museum. (Supervised) they may allow you to play the actual guitar played by your favorite artist!
