Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Jeremy WTulsa, OK508 contributionsWe stopped here to get a stamp on our Route 66 Passport and the ladies here were beyond fun to talk to! They had a plethora of knowledge about 66 and the "must see" stops along its famed corridor so if you are cruising 66 stopping here is a must!Written 25 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SJ RWisconsin15 contributionsSlightly entertaining, mostly disturbing, but worth the $5 admission. Just don't go in with an unsettled stomach...Written 19 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Stan WMinneapolis, MN741 contributionsGood reminder there is a base here. Some people I know who have spent time here call it "Fort Lost in the Woods"! Good reminder for those who are passing thru on Route 66.Written 16 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Charles W26 contributionsFun if you like this sort of local museums. It'll take about 1/2 hour to learn about this rural City. Like I said, it's a place you have to like to go to if you're a traveler by car.Written 9 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jeanette NMiami, Florida186 contributionsAll winter I passed this waterpark on my way going on post to Fort Leanard Wood. Kept on telling myself, 'hey, you should go!' Today my five month old baby and I went, and he had a blast! The park was larger than I had expected, clean and had many different slides, climbing wall and things to do for the kids! Oh, and the park had a plethora of lifeguards, which instructed kids when needed. Before we entered the pool we changed in the family restroom, and it was also super clean. The park had lots of sun chairs too. It was $5 for me (the baby was free). Totally worth the money! They also sell season passes for $75, and then you can go as much as you want for the summer :) Truly recommend!Written 26 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sally SCurrituck, NC809 contributionsMy husband and I are visiting family who are stationed at Fort Leonard Wood. We attempted to make an appointment at this attraction but all the escape rooms are closed due to COVID-19. We look forward to our annual trips to Missouri and hope when we return next year, this will be open. See y’all next year!Written 19 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dave SCincinnati, OH172 contributionsThis was one of our first stops on a cross country trip. Just don't take it too seriously, lighten up and have fun. The fudge was good, the jokes were exactly what I expected. Large gift shop with plenty of treats. Well worth the stop.Written 2 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jessica C100 contributionsI took my husband for date night as a surprise. We had plenty of time in the indoor range and then ate dinner. It was a unique way to spend the evening, not the typical "dinner and a movie".Written 26 May 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rebecca B1 contributionMy daughter went with a friend to the 30 minute room and had a blast! So nice to have these fun activities for family and friends so close to home!
