Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- osunateColumbus, OH11 contributionsIsabel gave us an amazing tour of the western Algarve. She shared so much amazing information on a wide variety of topics: nature, history, architecture, and more. We saw some phenomenal sights and had a wonderful day.Written 9 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - davidTolland, CT12 contributionsExcellent customized tour of Algarve region. We worked with Daniel to arrange a full day tour including boat trip to Benagil caves, a short hike along the trails/boardwalk in Lagos, a trip to the mountains above the coast and a very special traditional meal at a local farm in the countryside. A fantastic and beautiful glimpse at more than just the beaches and coastal towns. Thank you Daniel for a wonderful day. We wish you the very best in the future.Written 14 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- newlywedlawyers32 contributionsThis was a great experience even with a four year old! We did the local grottos and coastal tour. The tour guide spoke English and was very informative. It actually started raining pretty hard during our tour and the guides provided shelter and even offered to turn back. But we were having such a good time we continued. The scenery is breathtaking. Very enjoyable tour. Highly recommend!Written 17 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
