Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Thanks to Brendan for teaching me how to shuck oysters.Written 7 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JENNIFERLSydney, Australia6 contributionsI went on the Sydney Oyster Farm Tour with my girlfriends on March 8th (actually it was the International Women’s Day). It was a unique and fun experience, and I plan to return, possibly with my parents, who love oysters.
However, the first part of the tour was poorly organized. The boat driver (an elderly man) stopped in the middle of the river for 40 minutes to talk about oysters. Unfortunately, those of us seated at the back couldn’t hear a word, and when we asked him to speak louder, he just ignored us. It felt like a bit of a torture under the direct sun.
But once we arrived at the tables in the river, the real fun began.
We were greeted with a glass of bubbles, and the fun of learning to shuck oysters started. The tables were beautifully set with white tablecloths and plates full of fresh oysters and prawns. The oysters were incredibly fresh and delicious, and the experience of shucking and tasting them right in the river was unforgettable!Written 7 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
