One of my favorite places in Duluth...you can walk from canal park to fitgers or go as far as you can it stretches several miles...in November it's a fabulous site to see enormous waves!
Love this walk it is so great to be able to be out and view the great Lake Superior and the skyline of a great city Duluth.

Aside from the view from atop the tower, the gardens are magnificent, nice variety of blossoming flowers that are very well maintained and accessible for easy photography.

The family's history is varied and a bit gothic at times. the University of Minnesota at Duluth is doing an amazing job caring for this historical site.
