Thomas Edison Parkway Boardwalk
#1 of 4 Nature & Parks in Port Huron
There are magnificent private homes along the Edison Parkway, nice parks and floral displays and swaths of mowed greenery studded with sea gulls and Canadian geese making their way south for the winter.
The walk starts just north of the Blue Water Bridge and extends into Pine Grove Park.
Pine Grove Park

You can also do some great freighter watching from Pine Grove Park
We spend several hours in the Park enjoying the beautiful blue lake and the Blue Water Bridge.

Great Place for a Family Day..... Lakeside Park in Port Huron
This is a nice, grassy park that has shaded areas with picnic tables as well as a nice beach on Lake Huron.

This park is next to the lighthouse has good view of the river and freighters good for picnics and summer fun
Lighthouse Park is an excellent spot to, not only see the oldest lighthouse in the Great Lakes but freighters, some a long as 1000 feet and others from foreign ports only about 100 yards away.
