The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant

We took a tour round with a guide which starts with a really interesting video about the site and how it was restored followed by a walk round the different floors and cars.
The collection of historic cars at the Piquette Avenue plant was extensive and lots of fun to view.

The “Pure Detroit Tour” to begin at the Guardian Building, known as the Cathedral of Finance; it is a landmark skyscraper in the Financial District of downtown.
We learned a lot about the buildings history and got to see some amazing views of Detroit from the top floor.

The tour takes you to the 3rd floor for a close look at the beautifully painted ceiling frescos that were just recently restored, and up to a higher floor for a fantastic view of the city.

Comerica Park is amazing, baseball, hot dogs, Ferris wheel, Carousel, great concessions and The Tiger Club! Fine dining with great views of the park!
Comerica Park is a great ballpark, with a nice view of the city of Detroit in the evening, a great selection of craft beers, good food options, and when the Tigers are on a hot streak, an exciting game experience.

We did a free guided tour of the Renaissance Center; rode the people mover for great views of the city; walked around Comerica Park, Ford Field, Joe Louis Arena, Cobo Hall and Greektown.
Detroit Downtown is a great place to visit with all the cities sports stadiums, great waterfront views and lots of historical sites located here.

The temperature was comfortable, the sound was great and the view of the stage was nice from the very middle and I'm sure would be nice from absolutely any angle.
