The Morning Works tour was great. Beautiful facility. Got to see gorgeous horses during their morning exercise and a tour of the facility. Very interesting and informative even if you aren't a racing fan.... but even more so if you are or just love horses. Go early in morning to see the horses as they are done exercising about 10 due to heat.

Informative tour, learned a lot about the distilling process. Excellent presentation by our giuide. Particularly fun that we got to taste "in process" bourbon - straight out of the still; then from the barrel; and finaly the finished product. And... great bourbon and rye! Fun history, too; the distillery was opened in 19th century; ran until 1960's; closed and re-opened in 2018 or so.

The horse park is amazing! Everyone is super friendly. My kids (9 and 11) rode horses and had a wonderful experience. The ladies at the horse ride were so kind. My son got a little nervous and wasn't sure about riding. The lady came over to check on him and helped him stay calm. Once the ride started, he had a blast! We will definitely be back!

Great bourbon, beer and gin. Lexington stouts are some of the first beers that got me into craft beer. Their bourbon and gin did not dissapoint either. They give you 4 tokens to sample your choice of any of the above. Definitely worth the stop!

We took some 1st and 2nd graders to the Presiden't Day event and the kids really had a great time and enjoyed the learning games and activities. We appreciate the free admission for the kids. We were there for an hour and a half . . . and enjoyed every minute! We enjoyed Mrs. Lincoln too! :) Thanks for having this special day!

Aside from the beautiful surroundings, our tour guide (Shea) gave an engaging history of Kentucky thoroughbred racing and how Mill Ridge Farm began; and, still is a valuable part of the industry. A breeding and nursery farm, Shea expertly explained a young race horses life from inception, birth, weaning, and (hopefully) ultimately entering the racing world. Because of the time of the year (June) there were plenty of mommas and babies that we could visit, and feed carrots. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves horses, and horse racing. Even if you don't, the beautiful scenery and scale of the farm is something to see.

Great tour with excellent info on a great statesman of his time. Hasn’t heard of him before coming to Lexington - thanks to Google Maps. Excellent interior in the main house with a great story and artifacts. Also liked the buildings outside such as the ice houses. We did book well in advance to get the tour that best suited our timetable. Would suggest doing that.

Amazing tour at Gainsborough Farm! Emma was both personal and very knowledgeable about the farm and its history. We’ve done many horse farm tours, but this was by far the best!

A lot of history in this place and nice grounds. Easy to maneuver and access, enjoyable and interesting. Very nice upkeep overall and can download a map if looking for specifics

Small but beautiful gardens with several cute walking paths. It's free so what complaint could you have? There is ample parking and a little gift shop with snacks water and bathrooms. The trails have several shady benches if you are visiting in the summer heat. The plants could be labeled better, I'd highly recommend an identification app on your phone if you are interested in learning about everything there. The whole approach is very self guided and minimal information. I didn't see anything too novel but many local plants and everything is laid out beautifully with clear attention given to maintenance.
The Park is very frequently used for photo shoots wedding parties and the like if you are just visiting though there is plenty of room to spread out. Be sure to check out the Comair memorial as well.

Had a great tasting with Scott. Got my toasted oak replenishment as well. :>). Can't wait for the distillery to come on line later this fall. This will be a destination stop for bourbon lovers.

My son just had his wedding here and it was wonderful! The event coordinator, Emily, was very attentive and helpful. We had several events over 2 days. She not only made sure we had what we asked for, but also saw other details that we needed and made sure they were taken care of. All of the staff was amazing. A special shout out to Cecelia - so warm and friendly. I highly recommend The Thoroughbred Center.
