Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is another of the many strong wineries in Hunter Valley. Their wines were good and the staff was nice. Good views from the winery.

Ivanhoe once again. Great experience as usual. Danny who looked after us during our tasting was friendly, informative and entertaining. Thank you, very much appreciated and enjoyed especially the Verdelho. We will return.

Steph was fantastic! She walked us through each wine, with some jokes too. Helped us celebrate an engagement, service with a smile! Would highly recommend Steph 🎉🪩

This was a solid winery and a good tasting. It’s a bit corporate and less friendly than others, but they’re very professional. The wine is good too. Not amazing, but solid all around.

It's hard to pick a favourite winery, but this place is one of the best and absolutely not to be missed.

The views are some of the best in the valley. The cellar door is impeccably presented and the tastings are very professional. The cheese plate with he wine makes it a very well rounded experience.

Please don't miss Scarborough on your wine trail. They offer a good range and variety of wines. The first to do pinot noir in the Hunter. The Obsessive wine label wines are worth the drive alone.

    Enjoy!

A series of beautiful gardens laid out around some nice small lakes. Each garden is not extensive but a small taste of different styles.
Well maintained and an easy stroll - picturesque and a wonderful way to while away a few hours.

We had been meaning to try Harkham for ages and when we finally did, it did not disappoint! It was so lovely to try natural wines in the Hunter region, it was a unique take on wine making for this region. The staff were lovely and when the restaurant is ready to open we will definitely be there to enjoy the food, wine and spectacular views! A must to visit when you come to the Hunter

We enjoyed our visit to Briar Ridge. We booked a wine tasting experience and the deluxe platter for our family group. Wines were delicious and staff were wonderful. The platter was amazing and kept our kids happy while we enjoyed the wines. A beautiful location and outlook. We would definitely return.

I think Chef Edwin is a mad scientist in Leogate's kitchen! His crispy skinned Tasmanian trout is alchemy - a shimmering bronze scale armor guarding flaky treasures. But the real magic? Those black onyx beef cheeks! One bite and you're teleported to a medieval banquet hall, gobbling up molten morsels fit for a king. Sorcery on a plate!
A special mention for Zoe, our waitress, who was helpful & a great personality 👍

Piggs Peake is my favourite winery in the Hunter Valley. They make you feel welcome and their wines are amazing! We did a wine tasting with Alex and he was fantastic 🤩
