Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Some time ago I wrote a review of Archive Wine Bar at Belmont in Victoria on Google, Facebook and Instagram. This truly amazing place was founded by Ingrid and Graham Sutherland. Every time you visit you will discover over 180 wines each available by the glass. It has been suggested that Archive offers the most extensive selection in all of Australia.
The main reason for this review is to highlight another remarkable dimension of Archive. Graham has brought from the United Kingdom the WSET course (Wine & Spirit Education Trust), where he offers this internationally recognized course. Graham is himself a graduate from Edinburg with a Dip WSET. He is one of only 13000 people worldwide who have the DipWSET qualification.
On Saturday June 8, with my best friend, I took the Level 1 Course. This beginner level introduction to wine is just right for those who are maybe starting a wine career or simply pursuing an interest in wine. This qualification provides a hands-on introduction to the world of wine. You’ll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately and make food and wine pairings.
Grahm is such an amazing teacher with a depth of wine knowledge that he is keen to share. Great teachers have special qualities that set them apart from just good teachers. The have a deep understanding of their subject matter and can explain it clearly and concisely. They communicate effectively with students of all ages and learning styles. They have a contagious enthusiasm for learning. They care about their students as individuals. They are empathetic and understanding, and they create a learning environment where students feel safe to take risks and ask questions. They provide the support and resources that students need to succeed. They believe in their students' potential and help them reach their full potential. Graham Sutherland has all these qualities and so much more and is never condescending with his subject matter!
