“Historical Masterpieces of the Loop” with Hillary, and “Look Up, Look Down: Exploring the Heights and Depths of a City” with Adam Both tours are pretty amazing, full of energy, love to the city and great fun.
... several self guided tours around Chicago and the river boat architecture cruise (also very good), we decided to try the "The World Within: Dazzling Interiors of the Loop" tour from Inside Chicago Walking Tours.

Nancy was our Chicago Greeter and she shared her knowledge of Chicago, it's architecture, Millenium Park, local history, restaurants, recommended tours and transportation tips.
I am amazed that these tours are free and I am thankful to Esther for volunteering her time to show us the wonderful city of Chicago.

Segway tours are a great way to see the city, are easy to use, and our tour guide was really laid back, very knowledgable, and kept us safe.
If you are ever in the downtown Chicago area, you have to book a segway tour with Absolutely Chicago Segway Tours if you want to experience the best of downtown Chicago's parks and scenery.

Margaret was definitely the most animated and unique tour guide that we've ever had, and we've been on tours all over the world!
Both tours provided wonderful background on the sites and history of Chicago that enhanced our whole weekend.

One of the best knowledgeable touristic tours, usually I avoid this type of tours, but I am glad that we did it while in Chicago, very informative, excellent tour guide, worth every penny.
These docent led boat tours are informative and allows you to see and learn about the wide variety of Chicago Architecture along the Chicago River.

... things about this most beautiful of cities! I especially enjoy the neighborhood tours and, of course, the river architecture tours are truly a standout and I always take friends and family new to Chicago.
I highly recommend the CAF tours; rich selection of possibilities, reasonably priced, well paced, and excellently led by knowledgable docents.

... through specific history of the buildings, how they fit into Chicago and architectural history, in this case a bit of a Tiffany 101 class (which Chicago boasts much of), making this the most interesting of tours.
We had an excellent walking tour of public art from Millennium Park to State Street from Walk Chicago Tours.
