We had a great time doing the 2-day, 1-night Rinjani trek with Rody. They handled all the details seamlessly, from transportation and setting up a comfortable camp to providing delicious food. Our guide, Rody, and the two porters were amazing, making the trip fun and enjoyable. Although the climb is difficult, the stunning views make it all worth it. We highly recommend Lombok volcano Trekking for this trip and would gladly book them again.

Rinjani Hero is an amazing company . They kept us informed through the whole process. The hike itself was beautiful, and it was nice because we had quite a small group compared to other groups. Kecaf and the porters were incredible and the food was amazing!! Definitely recommend this company. I’d also recommend hiring an extra porter because it’s definitely worth it!! Sleeping bags rented off the company were very good quality and warm too.

A wonderful day out! We had so much fun visiting the waterfalls! Our tour guides were amazing too - and even brought some local sweet treats for the car journey! We also had a photographer come along who made a beautiful album of our day and a reel for Instagram too!! Everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a great day. And it’s Such good value for money! The waterfalls are stunning and a must see! We were then taken to a little traditional village where they were all having a little celebration, and then we walked through some rice paddies! We were even taken home via the monkey forest as we hadn’t seen it yet! Really recommend this tour!

Great hike, but would not reccommend booking through TripAdvisor. Found out on our way down that we had paid more than double that of the others in our group, most of which we assume did not go into the pockets of the locals who helped us climb the volcano. Our recommendation is to book it once your arrive, and save the extra cash for tips.

We had such an amazing experience! Thoroughly recommend using Lombok trekking. They took care of everything for us so we just focused on the hike. Our guide Anton was so great to trek with, very knowledgable of the mountain, understood our capabilities and a great host. The porters made some fantastic food and drink which was well needed by the time we got to the top! Overall I couldn’t recommend these guys enough :)

We had an amazing time and can totally recommend to do this 3 days hike organized by Go Backpacker Rinjani. Everyone in the team was super nice: Nemo, Ali and Awal made our time unforgettable. A big thanks also to our porters that carried all our food, water, tents and sleeping bags and cooked delicious food three times per day.
The trek is really challenging but is doable if you have some experience and enjoy hiking and testing your limits.

Excellent experience, friendly guide (Rudi was just simply great- supportive at challenging part of the trek and flexible with our enquiries ) as well as our amazing porters (Bathur and Sabri - what they can make in this high level of mountain, it is breathtaking, beautiful and tasty food 🥘 as we felt like they brought a little hotel up there :) therefore, it was really hard trek and challenging some hiking parts but worthy lookouts all around your trip (not just a peak , but also volcano and lake and panorama all around)

Mount Rinjani has the most amazing views of the valley. It also passes different archaeological sites. Our guide was Deni who is the best guide you can get. Our porters Adi and Jupeng kept our bellies full and the food was delicious! The guide and porter team were very helpful. They all climbed with just Sandals except the guide. I recommend these guys gold!

The experience of trekking and sleeping in the volcano was amazing: the views, the food, everything.
The best part was how lucky we were to have Dhana as our guide, he was a 10 - funny, friendly and made sure everything went smoothly. The work of the porters was also admirable.
The only “negative” part of the activity were the rooms in the homestay where we stayed the night before, they left a lot to be desired.

Before arriving, the communication via WhatsApp was very good. Upon our arrival at Bangsal port in Lombok, our driver was waiting to take us to our hotel in Senaru (we decided to spend the night before the trek near Mount Rinjani. The next day, we have breakfast and head to Crater Rim. We recommend that you be in good shape as it requires a lot of physical effort. We stopped, and every time we had our guide, Adi, who was great as a person and a professional. We don't have enough words of gratitude for the operators, who besides cooking delicious food, also do intense work.

We arrived at Crater Rim and they quickly set up camp enjoying the view, we had dinner and the next day we had breakfast and headed down. When we arrived in Senaru, they gave us our backpacks (previously stored while we were trekking) and gave us a room so we could shower before taking us to Kuta.

We highly recommend this experience with them, we felt very comfortable and we are very sad to say goodbye to them. They also play a super important role in the environment by always collecting any rubbish they find along the road.

Thank you Jou Trekking, we will definitely repeat!!

We had an amazing team, Edis as our guide and his porters. They were incredible people, very accommodating and professional. Edis managed very well the different fitness levels of people in the group and making sure everyone was well and safe was his top priority. Couldnt have had a better group to do such a challenging task.
    Recommend this company.

Regarding the hike itself, it is no easy task. I am fit and it was challenging specially the summit and the amount of waking you do everyday. It is intense and demanding.

We did the 3 days your but given the summit and the rim views were the highlight the 2 days would had been enough.

We did the 2D1N hike to the crater rim and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is stunning but if you don’t have the right team you won’t enjoy the experience at his best. Adi is a very friendly business owner, he runs the Rinjani Trek Adventures and arranged a very experienced team of 2 porters and one guide for me and my girlfriend. Adi’s brother runs an homestay in Senaru, we stayed there so we got to enjoy the whole family experience (delicious local food, good chats and waterfalls tour). Moreover, Adi arranged all the transfers for us so I recommend to use their services as a one stop shop and bundle the whole experience. We had an excellent experience with Yot, our young and wise tour guide. His English was very good and he made the experience a whole different level where we connected to each other telling our life stories, learning while we were hiking about our cultures, so different but somehow similar. Yot helped my girlfriend during the challenging parts and motivated us to track on schedule to enjoy the best experience. In fact, Egian and Andre which are Yot’s elders brothers were our porter. They carried all the way 20kg of supply and camping gear for us, cooking unbelievable meals (always different and aligned with sunset/sunrise). They set up the tent is a strategic spot, sheltered but with a beautiWe can only be grateful to have shared this experience with such a beautiful and skilful operators. We highly recommend them.

What an amazing experience, it was brutally tough but we did it and it was all worth it! Accompanied by our wonderful guide Mul, his dad, two other team members and another couple, we started our hike!

We started off great, smoothly going up the hills and having a fantastic meal after the first and easiest part. After that it became tough, it rained and we were soaked when we arrived at base camp. But the guys took care of us with hot drinks and building our tents. Than they also made us an amazing dinner and we ate under the beautiful Night sky (in the freezing cold)! Be prepared to take warm clothing but still try to pack as light as possible!

We woke up, had a great little breakfast and continued our hike up the mountain! The end was brutal, many struggled hard and we did as well. But we made it in the end, also because of the great support of our wonderful guide Mul! What a guy!

The view was breathtaking and instantly made you forget about all the struggles you‘ve faced during the hike! Absolutely wouldn’t want to miss it.

After making loads of pictures we started our decent which was another challenging experience but way less tough than going up the hill that‘s for sure!

What an experience and what a team. Simple amazing! Thank you to everyone at Halloumi tours!

Had the best day out on this tour. It was just me, and my guide Iwan and driver Jamil. They were both so friendly and chatty, and made me feel very looked after all day. They took me to all the great spots, I loved it! Couldn’t recommend this tour company enough!
