Thank you for arranging the Rinjani trip. 2d/1n was the perfect package for my schedule. I would highly recommend Adi Trekker for a private trip arrangement to Rinjani Summit, they got it all covered!!

    - The porter team was kind and friendly, very strong and responsive (and walked fast đź‘Ť). All needs were planned and executed perfectly. The food was delicious, healthy, and tailored to requests.
    - Adi was responsive and communicative to all questions during the preparation, making the trip comfortable.
    - The resort arranged was super comfortable with very helpful staff and matched the schedule. The resort was awesome, not to be underestimated.
    - Ian the documenter really pushed to the limit to ensure the documentation was achieved. With his struggles and thin jacket, he still made it to the summit.
    - Transportation, administration, and everything else were perfect.
    - Most of all, the guide was top-notch. Mas Cakra was indeed an excellent guide. He catered to the customer's needs, arranged everything to make the guests comfortable, gave tips for passing sandy areas, was very experienced on the trail, cleaned up trash (including monkey trash) on the way, was fun to run downhill with, and was very humble and helpful.

Overall, it was a great short break for me, well planned, well executed, and well worth the effort to fly to Rinjani. Thank you to the entire team involved in this trip.

Our contact arrived punctually at our hotel.
After a quick briefing, we loaded our backpacks in a van and started the adventure.
Sapar, our guide, led the way always asking if we needed something, watching our steps.
Jul and Amat were in charge of cooking a delicious breakfast and superb meals (our menu was a Nasi Goreng like one, pineapple cuts and fruits, fried bananas, chicken curry soup, banana pancakes and sandwiches). All super tasty!!
These guys were awesome and very good people!!! We could learn more about Lombok, its people and culture thanks to them. We really appreciate their effort and great humour!
It's a hard ascent, you start at 600 mts. and finish at 2600 meters to begin mounting the tents at the camp site. First section, rainforest. Then rocky and sandy.
Although weather conditions weren't favourable, we could see this majestic view that you see on social media and it didn't disappoint! (Even with bad weather conditions).
We spent the night in a comfortable tent and returned early because of the rain.

What an amazing day, we visited the old village and were made to feel very welcome. Then on to the waterfalls oh wow! We were looked after by the most attentive & beautiful guide Nova who actually did both our tours at our request.

A great experience, thanks to Rudi who was our guide, very patient, a good listener, very funny and who transmits great energy (which is necessary for the climb!). Thanks to all the team, especially the porters who had all the equipment and food for us. I can only recommend this company for this trek. Thanks to Rudi, the boss!

We had an amazing team, Edis as our guide and his porters. They were incredible people, very accommodating and professional. Edis managed very well the different fitness levels of people in the group and making sure everyone was well and safe was his top priority. Couldnt have had a better group to do such a challenging task.
    Recommend this company.

Regarding the hike itself, it is no easy task. I am fit and it was challenging specially the summit and the amount of waking you do everyday. It is intense and demanding.

We did the 3 days your but given the summit and the rim views were the highlight the 2 days would had been enough.

I really underestimated how hard this hike would be, but my guide Lim helped me through it. We managed to reach the top and I really would not have made it if Lim wasnt there, so huge thank you to him and the porters! It's incredible how they manage to take so many things with them and take care of you. I found it easy to contact Jou as well. There was plenty of food and water (soketimes I couldnt even finish my meal) and our tents were great (fresh & black that stay cool). So bear in mind that this is no easy trek, but if you want to do it then Lim is the best guide with 20 years of experience.

I did the mount Rinjani with green Rinjani based on previous reviews, they seemed the best doing the trekking, respecting nature and having lovely time with guests. I was super lucky, cause the first day the manager explain me everything in a really appropriate way, and I did the trekking with Dana, he was the best guide I could ever had, speaks perfect english and has such a lovely heart. Also the porters that came in Dana's team were lovely guys, helping us in everything all the time. I really appreciate the time spend with them and the motivation of Dana while going up, cause sometimes it was little bit hard, and he was always there giving his best. Thanks Dana and Green Rinjani, see you back!

Amazing trip! Hard, but Rinjani is worth pushing through all types of suffering one faces on the trek - the altitude, the crowds (be sure that you will NOT be alone on the track..), the trash along the path (yup, there is a lot of it unfortunately).

The owner Sultan and his Cakrawala team were effective and no-bulls*it from the moment we got in touch. Transfers, accommodation, park tickets, guides - all was arranged in a couple of messages and execution was flawless. We asked for a 3D 2N group tour to the summit but pretty much ended up with a private one for the price of a group tour (the first day we shared the porters with another two hikers who did the 2D 1N tour, but they had their own guide and went with their own pace).

Food was great and diverse. We had good tents, warm sleeping bags, Beng-Beng energy bars along the way, all the water we could drink, even a table and chairs for lunches and dinners.. Communication with the team was limited due to the language barrier, so no deep conversations happened, but they made us feel safe and certain that we know what we are doing.

We would be happy to do the trek again with Cakrawala, and even more so seeing how some other groups do their thing (especially the large mixed groups with loud or physically poorly prepared individuals). Price-wise we think they deliver unbeatable value for money and in a very kind and professional manner. If you are reading this because you are looking for a tour operator for Rinjani, look no further as Cakrawala is the team you need.

Overall a very memorable experience even though we didn’t summit, due to bad weather.

Honestly it was okay as the guide Nazea was looking out for our safety and well-being. Knowledgeable in the his work.

Porters were also amazing, carrying the supplies up the trail like a walk in the park.

Highly recommend Nazea for guide, with his experience and knowledge you will definitely get the full experience and will be in safe hands.

Went up to Rinjani summit with my kids (11 years and 16 yrs old) with Team Backpacker, and guided by Dany. The service is professional and efficient.

From the time we were picked up at the airport, and the comfortable stay before the hike and all the way up the hike and safely back, we were satisfied. Logistics wise, the tents provided were big, clean, and comfortable and the food served was great and more than sufficient for our family. Most importantly, we felt well taken care of especially by our guide , Dany who was very helpful and motivating. He is very easy going, but also very experienced and was able to assess what would be best for our trekking.

Team Backpacker has been in the business for very long and are very professional with the services provided. Mis is also very easy to communicate with and is very accommodating. He provided us with equipment we were lacking and advised us what we needed for the hike.

From the conversations we had with Mis drivers, porters and guide, they are all happy to work with him, and all are experienced. So we definitely recommend Team Backpacker for Rinjani Hike!

I ordered this trek because of the great reviews.
They picked me up at the hotel on time and we drove to the base where we got an overview over the trek.
Met our guides, Rudy and Alex, and they were really nice.
Being 42, a bit overweight but nothing major I found this quite difficult. But the guides and also my lovely group members were really encouraging so I made it to the top.
The view was spectacular! It was so worth the 7 hour trek, even though my poor legs were barking and wanted to give up.
During the trek we had lunch and considering that they were preparing it on the spot it looked marvelous. So delicious and nourishing and very large portions with loads of fruits to fill up our bellies.
On the way we got some snacks and like tired toddlers gobbled them up :)
The dinner was something... it looked like it was made by a fancy restaurant but prepared in a tent 2600m above sealevel. Was really good and a welcome addition to my belly after a hard trek.
When we got to the crater everything was setup and ready which was really nice could rest my legs.
In the morning we got a very hearty breakfast and after a short briefing walked down. Being tired the guides helped me with pacing which was nice, didn't make me feel bad for dragging behind.
All in all it was just brilliant. Hard as heck but sooo worth it.

We did the 2D1N trek to the crater.
Our guide edi and the two porters were amazing and did still their best to feel us comfortable. The dishes were wonderfull and really a lot. You'll get fresh fruits and fresh food made with love by the porters.
We did the deluxe trek which includes chairs and table. As soon as we've seen what the porters has to carry on their shoulders we felt a little ashamed. They have big mats to sit on which is fully enough to take a break or a meal. So if you want to do them a favor book the standard trek and give the money as tips to them.
We had a wonderfull trip and can fully recommend to book a trip with halomi trekker.
