What travellers are saying
- lovetotravelRH1 contributionI loved visiting Edison and Ford Winter Estates. The museum was interesting, and the grounds were beautiful. I chose not to do the guided tour and just walked around at my own pace. I enjoyed reading all of the information at the different display areas, and I enjoy gardens and flowers, so spending time looking at and appreciating them throughout the grounds. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and only rated it a four since others in my group pointed out there wasn't much to DO, and for people looking for structured activities (other then the guided tour) may not want to do this because it is kind of wandering around and looking at what you want to look at.Written 25 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Gary Theresa H10 contributionsSaw a few lizards and a baby alligator. Very nice park. Went late afternoon wasn’t too hot tree canopy blocks the sun and wasn’t too crowded.Written 24 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- americancouple2017New York City, NY20 contributionsIn the midst of unremarkable urban landscape you find an oasis of nature - lakes with lots of life in them: birds, reptiles, fish.Written 2 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Sarah K4 contributionsOff season which meant no manatee sightings. But the gift shop was great. Still great I formation about manatees and photo ops.Written 23 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- americancouple2017New York City, NY20 contributionsThere is a lot of beautification being done. Has a big river park feeling combined with the old-fashioned quaint town.Written 4 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- GoVols79Chattanooga, TN2,717 contributionsI went to jetBlue Park on 3/21/22 to watch the Red Sox host the Atlanta Braves in Fort Myers, FL. Everything about my experience went very well and the fan experience is great. I bought my tickets and parking ahead of time which made for a smooth experience getting in. I ran into Wally the mascot as soon as I entered. The first base concourse area has an additional space with many food vendors and live music playing.
The design of the stadium is very impressive. It is very easy to walk around and the stands don’t feel crowded. Due to the open design a nice breeze could be felt the entire game. Also the large overhangs provide a great amount of shade. I sat in section 203 and was in the shade the entire time. The first base side has the most shade although the closest rows to the field will be in the sun. The third base side had more shade as the afternoon progressed. The Red Sox dugout is on the third base side.
The game was fun and after the starters came out I roamed around stadium some and took in the view from the green monster seats. The rooftop gives a great view of the field and the surrounding complex where the organization trains. I had a great time at jetBlue park and would highly recommend a visit to any baseball fan.Written 3 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - AnthonyLeicester, NC395 contributionsReally nice updated facility, great site lines.Downside was average concessions with notcs lot of choices at Major League prices.Still a great place to enjoy a game.

There are some shaded areas but i recommend an umbrella if you're concerned about overexposure to the sun. Know that the restrooms are at the entrance near the kayak rentals. This is a bit of distance away. Parking can be challenging too but the lot near the kayak rentals is pretty large. Suggest you drop your stuff at the beach , then drive to park.Written 9 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mary L4 contributionsYou might think that you could quickly drive through this area, but the stunning view takes your foot right off of the pedal.
Peace, tranquillity, and the dream of living close to the shore, and close to every amenity makes this pace a perfect haven.Written 16 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Christopher KFrackville, PA76 contributionsGreat selection of brews, something for everyone. There was a Live musician playing which is great for an afternoon. Food truck was ok. Could use an upgrade on the Men's Room!Written 16 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- diguanSt. Augustine, FL99 contributionsGood experience for toddlers (up to age 8). The exhibits are nice but we were in and out within 2hrs. The value based on ticket cost made it palatable.Written 7 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- D HJackson, MI387 contributionsA little overwhelming at first, but a great place to find some cool things!
Not really a bargain hunters paradise, but you can find some nice gifts, cute dresses, antique housewares and some snacks. It was a warmer day in April when we were there and the fans blowing helped cool things down. All of the vendors were fun to interact with since we were obviously out of towners. Definitely a fun place to spend a few hours browsing with friends and even hit the farmers market for some great fresh produce.Written 5 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - rebabeeFort Myers, FL82 contributionsWe saw a great performance about Patsy Cline. Small theater with good seats. Parking is a bit of a challenge on weekends.Written 24 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- SarsprdocSaratoga Springs, NY1,100 contributionsfor someone from northern Ohio this was really special as we grew up learning so much about Edison and Ford being so much in the industrial belt. So to see their winter vacation homes was really special and so well preserved; such beautiful grounds and so much ahead of his time. Really a special few hours and I felt the $50 for 2 adult self guided tour was not too much in helping preserve such a piece of history. I'm glad our relatives convinced us to visit during our short week in the area.Written 18 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
