Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- tnjr2019Floral Park, NY76 contributionsThis Discovery center is great for kids. However lots of the displays were empty when we went. The imax was a great experienceWritten 26 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Pedro LFort Lauderdale, FL255 contributionsComfortable one screen independent movie theater in a converted church with stadium seating, strong air conditioning, and convenient free nighttime/weekend parking in a garage across the street. There is an outdoor courtyard for occasional parties and mingling at some events/festivals. The only problem is with the audience members . . . it was difficult to concentrate on the films since several people ignored the film completely and spent the entire 2 hours on their phones, with the brightly lit screen distracting me from being able to see the film. There are no ushers to enforce the rule and ask them to step into the lobby if they wish to use their phones. This should be addressed by management--using phones during a film in 2025 is the equivalent of what smoking in theaters was in 1975, taboo.Written 26 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Richard G1 contributionThe theater may be old and look a little worn in lobby area but seating new and all screens big. Concession prices reasonable as well as ticket prices. You couldn't ask for a better place unless you want to pay much higher prices and in some instances get a smaller screen. We go there all the time and you should too! Support this landmark theater.Written 1 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- boca mBoca Raton, FL147 contributionsVisiting for the first time to see the latest James Bond movie. Comfortable seat!! I Didn't order food; I thought the food menu I saw in the lobby was pretty poor; certainly nothing I'd order for "dinner and a movie".Written 16 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steven CSeminole, FL1,121 contributionsMy wife and I caught a movie at this location during a recent visit to the Fort Lauderdale area. We had pre-purchase tickets so we just needed to scan our tickets and head to the concessions area. The employees overall were barely polite and not very friendly. We arrived early and purchased our concessions only to find that another movie was still playing in our assigned theater. When we walked back to the front lobby, we were informed that the current movie would play right up until five minutes before our movie started. (No one advised us of this fact when we scanned our tickets and purchased our concessions items.) The seating in the theater is of the older style (i.e., no reclining seats) but they were all in good condition and the theater was fairly clean throughout with the exception of the men's room I used, which was in need of more regular maintenance and repair. Our visit here was just average overall and nothing special. If you don't expect much besides seeing a movie and average quality concessions, you won't be disappointed.Written 18 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
