- J EFredericksburg, VA8,949 contributionsThis is a beautiful, walkable area along a canal-type waterway, they call a river. Boats, etc float in it. There are many large buildings/mixed-use along it, as well and lots of shops and restaurants. It lights up beautifully at night and is all walkable. While this area might have a lot of homeless and not be very appealing, the nights we were out on this walk, it was nice and we didn’t see much vagrancy. It can be touristy, but it’s worth visiting.Written 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- The PidgeWayne, NJ606 contributionsThe historical society is comprised of a few buildings, although only one is open to the public. It contains a film about the history of the area as well as a few comprehensive exhibits. The staff I encountered were extremely friendly. Recommended for history buffs such as myself.Written 20 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Susan ODouglas5 contributionsIt was very interesting to learn about this place. Bonnet House is so different. Our tourguide did a great job. - usmcwifeyCA32 contributionsUnknowingly arrived during Spring Break. Beach was very busy, however police presence was abundant. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Dave LCincinnati, OH274 contributionsWe took the walk on a Friday about mid day in August. There are lots of yachts to see parked along the water's edge, with several drawbridges. There are few restaurants along the route with several a short distance away. There are free water taxis that can pick you up at select spots and bring you to other locations. The total distance end-to-end is less than a mile. A nice way to spend a couple hours, and do take the taxi for nice ride on the water.Written 27 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas VOakland, CA16,858 contributionsIt certainly helped that we were the only ship in port this day, so no traffic and no crowds. The terminal was functional and the staff were nice. We were on board in 30 minutes. And there are some nice Florida views from the ship.Written 9 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DenstevjNaugatuck89 contributionsPretty Beach, but parking was horrible. We got a $25 ticket because we didn't see a sign that was hidden by a truck. We even asked the attendant if it was OK to park there and he said sure. Boy, we were so mad when we saw the ticket. I think it was a scam.Written 17 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
