What travellers are saying
- preciousness22United States803 contributionsFort Lauderdale is a great place to visit in Florida. Great beaches, food, shops, sunshine and hotels.Written 19 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Norine G5 contributionsLoved this place! So much to do and eat. The prices were reasonable too. Bought a white dress for my birthday dinner for $45 at one of the shops and saw the SAME dress in the mall for $90! Great food...friendly people! My husband and I enjoyed walking hand in hand to each store. Best part was its close proximity to the beach! Made my trip even more special!Written 17 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Carolina C9 contributionsgreat weather, just keep close your sunblock! nice restaurants, the view and the vibe
you can walk around or take a boat rideWritten 20 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - GdurginRedlands36 contributionsIt’s a calm and colorful place tucked away in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Ft.Lauderdale.
I enjoyed the whimsy, the splashes of color everywhere… even the history of the museum name made me smile.Written 3 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - cozydozyBoston, MA10 contributionsLovely view under the sun with a lot of beautiful views. I accidentally passed there twice on my way to the museums and was impressed by their clean arrangements and trash cans spread in an orderly way.Written 29 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Miles ArcherBoca Raton, FL7,242 contributionsGenerally a clean beach, except when Spring Breakers are in town and dump their trash on the sand, as is happening now. Still, this beach area is well maintained. Lifeguard stands. Basketball court. Restaurants across the street. Walkers and joggers on the sidewalk bordering the beach. Meter parking available.Written 17 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Rachel N8 contributionsThis is a neat park but may seem like not much to out of towners who would just drive through it. You have to get out and explore to find cool places. When we went it was early so there was a lot of stuff not open so we didn’t get to really explore it but what we did find was neat.Written 25 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- notjudgemental1Calgary, UK43 contributionsIf you are waiting for the Cheesecake Factory to open just turn left and go down to the walkway by the river. It is very quiet and beautiful and you are able to admire huge boats of all types. The tour boat is right there also. They seem to do the tour every couple of hours. Unfortuneatley like everywhere, there are a few homeless men handing around. Just be aware of them. There are many dog walkers in the area. This a is beautiful area of quiet.Written 5 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Angela K8 contributionsI had a cruise booked with Holland America Lines, thus... I had to be at Port Everglades. A place I would normally not visit at all because the main purpose is being a harbour.Written 7 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- GdurginRedlands36 contributionsThe docents were welcoming and interesting. Their excitement about the history was contagious. The smaller group lends itself to a more intimate experience.Written 3 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- guy-theaBattle Lake, MN17 contributionsWe never saw one that looked like this picture - they all looked like regular city buses. It sounds like Sun Trolley has been taken over by the city now. The good news is it is all FREE. There are several routes, but the two most important for tourists are the one that goes up and down AIA (40) and the one that goes to Las Olas and AIA (11). They come about every 35-45 minutes so if you miss it there is a wait, but you can just keep walking to the next stop in the meantime because the stops aren't that far apart. The best way to find the stops is to use google maps and choose the "bus" icon instead of car or walking....the apps and maps the city advertises weren't helpful.Written 28 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- RschagrinDelray Beach, FL12,113 contributions"Great Venue"
Went to see a musical at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Very good sound system and seats. We have been season subscribers for years.
The only negative is the rest rooms, too small for the size of the theater.Written 16 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - HendersongalHenderson, NV1,081 contributionsReally enjoyed this small museum on a recent trip to S. Florida. Had a couple of hours to kill with a few family members who are art buffs.Â
Parking across the street in a general garage was easy enough. I had to check my bottle of water, but I understand -- protect the art! One of the reasons this museum caught our eye was the Keith Haring exhibit. Even my teenager is a fan of his work. We all really enjoyed the collection, which explored the impact that the work of Pierre Alechinsky had on Haring. There were some amazing pieces!
We also really enjoyed the Lux et Veritas exhibit, which showcases works by Yale School of Art for graduate students.Â
Would definitely recommend if you're in the area and have a couple of hours to spare.Written 27 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - valencia126Liverpool, UK187 contributionsThis region has lots of interesting areas, from trips on the river to river walkways to great eateries.Written 11 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- NoneReallyUSA548 contributionsVery large and busy unlike the malls across the US that are closing down. After 30 minutes I had shopped only part of one store..... lots to see, lots of shops.Written 22 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
