Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- BigRobUTSAOdessa, TX497 contributionsIf you are good with critters, spiders, etc, and of course butterflies, then this is the place for you. A great afternoon to spend with kids, and I also saw dates coming here as well. The star of the show was the butterfly pavillion itself, with lots of photo opportunities. Everything else is built around this. I know there is a lot to do, but without little kids, expect to spend an hour or less here. Well worth the visit. We would come back as well.Written 24 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- 860SusanB860Rockwall, TX2,976 contributionsWe recently walked this trail with family who live in the area. We loved the scenery!
The trail meandered across marshes, prairie lands, rolling hills, beside ponds and across creeks.
We saw fire ant hills, Canadian geese, goslings, mallard ducks, ducklings, a cottontail rabbit, and lots of prairie dogs and their babies.
The wildlife and all the flora and fauna were most enjoyable. We saw all types of plants including morning glories, wild roses, sage bushes, ferns, yucca and cacti. We saw a few other hikers, a couple of dogs, and several cyclists. This is a nice trail with distant views of the Rockies. It certainly gets you up close and personal with Mother Nature!Written 3 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - OnTheRoadAgain1056Appleton, WI290 contributionsI drove by this tower. There are some statutes by it also. I would have liked to stop and see what they were but there was workers doing landscaping around it so I didn't. Maybe next time.Written 13 May 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
