Visited Bantayan for family dinner before our return home in 48hrs.
The park itself we didn't see much as it's evening but have been before to enjoy a nice river walk.
    Visited Bacolod Inasal.......
It's the first place opposite the outpost.
It's a gem!! Ordered the Family Special of Chicken Inasal, Grilled Baboy (pork) Chop Suey, Squid, Shrimp, Pancit, Fish Tinola, with unlimited rice and soft drinks all for Php 4,000.......
Well worth it as all 15 of us went home full, with enough in doggy bags for 4 at home too.
All the staff very helpful and friendly.
Definitely return next year for sure.....
    Thankyou all at Bacolod Inasal

Best to have a local friend with you to explain things, although a lot of the museum has English explanations. The best part is seeing a preserved Spanish colonial era home. Not many of these left in the Philippines. The caretakers are very helpful and friendly.

Built 1891, Saint John the Baptist Parish is part of the city of Bago's illustrious history and the facade of the church still bears the historical imprint of the place but upon close inspection, the church looks very new. When I went inside, I noticed that much of its original red brick interior and exteriors have been heavily plastered to make the church look 'new' which is a shame because the original brick exterior, seen from some of its un- plastered parts would have given the church more character. Some parts of the inner cloister have also been left in neglect and the interiors also heavily restored without consideration to its original spirit. Hope the church.and the city's historians can work together to preserve the church in the right way for the next.generations.
