From feeding the hatchery fish (bring quarter to get the fish food), to hands-on display in the museum (local animals and how they live, etc.) - very engaging staff that are there to assist you and your group.

We haven't seen such an extensive and top-notch display of Native American art before, outside of the Heard Museum and Santa Fe.
Take it from a local who moved here from the Navajo Reservation decades ago and who stops in to visit this wonderful store, that is almost like a museum in terms of its variety of beautiful things.

Ever changing, the Animas Museum has set up a WWI exhibit to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the United States entry into the First World War.
What a delightful surprise to have found this treasure---I highly recommend this museum as a fascinating historical reference of the county (something for all ages).
