DON'T RESERVE THROUGH TRIPADVISOR. You don't get tickets, just a voucher to redeem for a ticket. You still have to wait in lines to get tix, and then wait until the scheduled time for the ride which can be several hours. So why pay a premium to TripAdvisor for basically nothing - no reservation, no ticket, nothing! Our driver and guide, Eddie, was very knowledgeable about the park and all that it entails. It felt like a great geography lesson and he did a wonderful job answering questions and giving us lots of information about what we were seeing. Our tour guide Kolin was very knowledgeable and upbeat. Plenty of water and snacks to keep you nourished and hydrated during the trip of 11+ miles. In addition, internet connectivity in many of the areas featured on this tour was non-existent, furthering our frustration with this. The bus was very nice and comfortable. Rosemary was so knowledgeable about local history, architecture and celebrities, and delivered the information in a fabulous way! We learned, we laughed, we loved and we enjoyed the beverages we are allowed to bring on board! He gave us some history as we rode through the neighborhood on our way to Indian Canyon. The hike along the spring was nice. - Kevin & Donna SIllinois3 contributionsMy wife and I toured with Isabelle. She was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the big picture of the San Andreas fault system and the Saltan Sea. Isabelle led us on 3 different hikes at various challenging levels, always asking how we are doing - we appreciated that. She would adjust each hike accordingly. The vehicle this company uses was enclosed and we appreciated getting out of the sun as well as the air conditioning after each of our hikes.
