Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Everything you wanted to know about Needles, and the surrounding area/inhabitants, you will find here.. Super informative displays and memorabilia bring it all to live, along with well informed docents who can fill in any "gaps" for you.
Well worth your time to learn. Also, take time to explore the El Garces train depot across the street and its history as a Harvey House back in the day.

The Camping experience was quite good. Having full service fifty amp hookups on the water is unusual. However they have doubled their prices and now charge a resort fee and utility fee. $19.50 for a pool noodle at the gift shop and $9.40 A gallon for gas at the gas dock. More than Outrageous

If this place is on your way to somewhere else, please stop by to take a look. But, do not make this place your primary vacation spot. I would combine this place with the Mojave Twins which is located on the other side of Needles. It is free to see. The gravel road is not bad so any car with normal clearance can make it there.

Pretty stretch of the Colorado which starts somewhere just north of Needles and goes south to just north of Lake Havasu City. Neat fishing spots along gravel and dirt access roads off of the 95. Check out the Topock area just above the I-40 access or a bit farther north at Catfish Paradise. Folks at the general store might be helpful in suggesting other entry locations. Fishing can be fun here. But for touring around, you'll be better off just looking for a good viewpoint. For me, I found the Mesquite Bay area near Lake Havasu more to my liking. There're about 3 identifiable access points, with two fishing piers, kayak access, and walking trails. Good place for dog walking, too, though it's federal land so they should be leashed. The northern most parking area is the best developed, but all the drive-ins are really short roadways. No worries for flats or extra tire wear. But I wouldn't choose a windy day to be here. The lake gets rough and you'll find few barriers to block the wind. The three entries are bunched together along London Bridge Road.

This place popped up on my Google maps so decided to call by. The attendant saw us checking the place out so invited us into the visitor centre. Wayne was so helpful and loved telling us about the history of the hotel. We hadn't had time to book a full tour but he was happy to show us around the ground floor and explain the stories behind the photos. Wish we had time for the full tour.

Santa Fe Park is on Historic Route 66. It is adjacent to the El Garces Hotel and train station, another historic location.

The park offers open space to relax and picnic. There are displays and plaques honoring military and law enforcement as well as artifacts.

Chose this course as it was close to Laughlin where we had spent the night on our way back home. The staff was friendly and we were paired with a wonderful couple from WA State. Several Minnesotans were in front of us. The wind was mild which I was thankful for as I have played this course in a 3 club wind and it is far different. No complaints for what this course is. A nice track that will challenge the average golfer and will not punish the beginners. My wife who is starting out had a fun time. Are there things that could be improved upon, yes but I am guessing the world we live in today along with how the environment is during the summer has a big impact on course conditions. Greens were plush but slow, would be nice to see them a bit quicker but what do I know as I am not a course technician. Definitely a good value for the price and would play it again if in the area. Use a bit of caution if using a cart as the one we had the brakes were almost non existent.

Really good beef jerky and i'm not into them. But this one takes the win so far for teriyaki! I would swing by again.
