Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- NicoleHermosa Beach, CA6 contributionsThe best selection of brews! We each tried two different flights then chose our favorites from those to get pints. More relaxed and - dare I say - a bit more hip than the more commonly thought of hip parts of LA like Venice and Silver Lake. Highland Brewery beckoned. A line of people didn’t put me off. Covid rules apply and everyone was happy to oblige. A pint of MADEWEST Pale Ale was the perfect first beer of the day. And the burger was spot on. Sat in the car park under a marquee, even on a breezy day was a complete joy.Written 2 March 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rich HPequannock, NJ1,261 contributionsStopped here after a long hike to the Hollywood Sign. The beer was great as was the food truck. - Rachel TCardiff, Wales186 contributionsA bit of advice to all non-American tourists - bring ID! They are very strict on this here, I came here with my husband (both in our 30s) and although I had ID on me the server was very stern and would only sell me 1 beer as my husband didn’t have his ID on him (he does not look under 21), this might seem normal to Americans but in the UK/Europe this is quite strange, so as long as everyone in your group has ID you’ll be pleased, as the Duff beer is actually really good, probably the best beer I had in California during our holiday, I was pleasantly surprised!Written 28 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David LLos Angeles, CA10 contributionsThis place is tucked away in area that looks a bit industrial. Very cool place to check out if you want to get away from places with lots of foot trafficWritten 28 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Joanna BLos Angeles, CA76 contributionsYou've got to go here, it is the best kept secret in the Arts district. The staff, vendors, and people that go there are always super friendly and nice. There beers are top-notch with unique combinations you can't find elsewhere. The owners seem to be always present and are super passionate about their beers. One of my favorite things are the vendors they bring in for events and on certain days. The food is always amazing, like these huge pretzels, barbecue ribs, tacos, and coffees. I think this is the best place to experience everything LA has to offer. It's still young and I'm so excited for what it will become for the community. Such a cool spot.Written 23 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Richard SLos Angeles, CA523 contributionsLarge place with indoor and outdoor seating. Large amount of craft beer selection and wine list. Upgrade pub grab and very delicious. The brisket sliders are yummy and so are the pork tacos, in fact ordered the tacos twice. Two pool tables and shuffle board available. Also there appears to be an upstair area. Only small issue is the lack of help which it seems every business is having at the time.Written 9 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kisssmeeLos Angeles, CA817 contributionsThere's so much open space!! It's so perfect to host a birthday with a big group. There's a small parking lot or street parking. I had the Why Kiki? which is a tropical cider. So good. The staff was really friendlyWritten 17 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Craig-World-TravelleAgoura Hills, CA1,700 contributionsReally liked the beers here. They have 12 different beers on tap that are made at this location. Nice tasting room. You can try a sample of the beers before buying. They also have a club to get discounts if you are a regular.
They don't serve food but always have a food truck on site. You can bring the food in while you enjoy your beer.
We had a beer flight where we could try 4 different beers - all were delicious.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
I can't wait to go back.Written 16 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
