- CSCMSJAtlanta, GA139 contributionsGreat place to kill an hour or two exploring. We came here after visiting LACMA and it was an easy walk, albeit a little longer than we expected. We checked out fresh foods, stopped for a cappuccino & amazing affogato in a waffle cup (YUM!), then picked out some pastries to take back to our Air BNB for snacking later.
After walking through here, we wandered and shopped through The Grove, then ended up back in the Farmers Market at the pub for dinner. - drmaderOrinda, CA1,973 contributionsNice veggies and you can visit erewhon , flahertys, Alfred coffee , alo...but went for flowers and neither the farmers market or erewhon had anything to take home ..parking easy here underneath , it’s a very small one way in, one way out farmers market -food only ... shopping area is top notch...there is even a lauderee

The streets are closed off, but you will find parking and not have to walk more than a block to get to it. It is large, but not so huge that you will not have the time or energy to go to 100s of booths. They just have the best of the best.
It is a locals' Farmers' Market but tourists are greeted with smiles. We are a friendly bunch. It gets crowded but not so bad that you can't get to a booth you want and get waited on pretty fast.
They have everything, from fresh fruits and vegetables to meats and treats. They sometimes have wine and they always have flowers. We love their ice cream booth from New Zealand, and this is not an easy ice cream to find. They also have clothes and assorted things for your home.
The prices are reasonable and there are plenty of places to sit and take a break or eat what you just bought. It is assessable to all and if you are wheel chair bound, you will get through just fine, because we simply are not a rude crowd. Kids run and have fun and there is always something for kids to enjoy.
