so many things to see. The sign, hills, walk of fame. Great experience which you know only from the american movies :) I was there only 2 days, but Hollywood was the best choice

This was my second visit. A must for music lovers. There is so much to see and so little time! I recommend. Park in the ramp next door and get your receipt validated for 90 minute parking. It is convenient. I bought 2 CDs. I forgot to look for the painted mural near the stage. Next time !

An old and new book store with an amazing architecture. Probably the oldest bookplace in town. Building, interior everything gives the centuries old feel.
I parked in next street for $10. There is no parking in front of it.

If you have been to a guitar center before, this one is pretty typical inside the store. What makes it special is all the handprints and guitars outside the store! Big selection of guitars, plus other instruments such as drums, electric keyboards, bases, and accessories.

A foodie Instagram paradise LOL, all under one roof. Visiting LA, spending the day downtown. My friend and I hit the museums, then needed a break and she took me here. Any food stall and market you can imagine. Something for everyone. We showed up about 1:00 p.m. on a Saturday. It was packed. If your going to want to sit, that could be a challenge. Just keep that in mind.

We walked through the whole market and then grabbed a beer at the Golden Road... it hit the spot. We found 2 stools at the end of a coffee bar to sip and people watch.

If you are in the area, great place to stop.

We visited the Westfield Century City Mall twice during our vacation week. Both visits were to have lunch and walk around. Lots of good options here for both dining and shopping.

Nice shopping plaza with plenty of shops and restaurants love the decor of the plaza and it connects with the Chinese theater and the Dolby theater. It also connects you to Hollywood boulevard and has a lot of photo ops

The UCLA store is located on campus and is somewhat of a walk from parking, for which you will pay.

Once in the store you'll find everything you might need from your books oh, if you are attending classes, to UCLA sweatshirts, t-shirts, jogging pants and anything else you can imagine with a UCLA logo on it.

If you have a student who has been accepted you might want to go there and get all their UCLA swag. If you are a tourist and enjoy UCLA you'll find anything you want there, from game hoodies to beer steins.

It does get crowded, the lines can be long and the service is not the best. Nonetheless, if you want something from UCLA they will have it. Note that the prices are outrageous.

Convenient mall in downtown LA area. Short walk from the hotel. I was able to get few things I forgot and few things i did not prepare for. Lots of shops , Target, and food court. Very cool design and not terribly busy. Purchased few items here at regular price rather than buying things at a gift shop.

American Girl dolls are not cheap but this is a cute place just to have a quick wander around if you’re at The Grove anyway. Two stories, there’s even a salon. Anything you’d want in doll size seems to be available ;)

I stopped by this place on my way out of LACMA, and I am so happy I did. The art was beautiful and compelling, and the space is gorgeous. They also have a fantastic gift shop. I would recommend visiting with just one or two other people, as the museum is quite small, and not built for crowds.
