What travellers are saying
- AprillaGreenfield, IN727 contributionsVery nice antique store, very well laid out. Lots of jewelry and vintage clothing. Then random items to look through. Staff was very helpful and friendly.Written 19 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- SouthernBelles98Alpharetta, GA762 contributionsI was hoping this would be a vintage antique collectibles store based on the signage but it was not that. But the store is packed with old items such as doors, window panes, light fixtures, old equipment, and interesting old items. But don’t expect to see smaller collectibles.Written 9 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Adriana TLos Angeles, CA2 contributionsVery interesting antique store with freaky decor and medical instruments antiques, etc. Knowledgeable proprietor. Good parking. Wheelchair access would be difficult but other handicap access is possible.Written 25 November 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- bazi43Oakland, CA233 contributionsAlabama Antiques is a great place to pick up gifts to take home to friends & families.
The range of items in this place is incredible! You;ll find things you didn't even know existed! From antique advertising and magazines, to glassware and crockery, to the kind of thing you just can’t find at your run-of-the-mill place.
And the owner is a wacky actor who’ll entertain you with his stories of his starring roles in biker movies and horror flicks! You can spend a whole afternoon there, getting unique gifts that will surprise & delight your friends and family back home - and the trip will be a great treat for you!
And ask about Henri’s, the old-style coffee shop around the corner, with their big selection of pies and lunch plate specials that seem certainly home-made.Written 6 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Lisa3sonsTopanga, CA18 contributionsA lot on offer, yummy gourmet food trucks, Italian ices si my kids were happy, everything from crystals to trees, from furniture, toys, clothes, jewelryWritten 24 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TSinParisParis, France1,900 contributionsThis great vintage shop has an abundance of unusual items from jewelry to clothes to china to some furniture and everything in between. The owner, Marti, has traveled the world and has a great eye for the unusual either vintage or antique. If you are in the area be sure to check out this shop. There are numerous coffee shops and restaurants in the area as well so you can get something to eat if all the browsing and shopping have made you hungry.Written 1 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Sheila SLos Angeles, CA73 contributionsHidden in a warehouse in the Arts District of downtown, Peter Lai's Japanese Cultural Village is a 5000 square foot space full of magical things. He is a retired designer and collector and he shares both his treasures and his amazing life. The cost is $30 per person and an advance appointment is necessary. But it's SO worth it!Written 3 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
