Scot Nery is a genius and a star entertainer. The people he books for each show are unusual and fun. This is a show anyone and everyone would love. Guaranteed

We saw the SUNDAYS DRIVE-INS & DIVES show and it was so much fun. The skits were all really funny and it's easy to see why a lot of these stars go on to be on Saturday Night Live. The skits have that type of humor.

There weren't any duds and all the actors were funny in their own way. The show is reasonable and a cheap way to see some funny comedy without spending extra on a 2 drink minimum. If you like skits, this is worth the trip.

I attended the Wednesday evening standup show “Good Looks”. I was laughing out loud throughout the whole show. I have attended much more expensive comedy shows in New York and this topped them all. My only wish is this venue had a bar. A little alcohol never hurts a comedy show. Tickets were only $8.50!

A little pricey but well run comedy club with top performers and good food. Racer 5 is $9 a pint so not shafting you, but not a discount.

We went to Upright Citizens Brigade having booked a show called "Regifted" after Christmas and after reading the description. We took our 13 year daughter, who is no stranger to improv theater. We expected foul language, However, the sexual content of the show was not listed in the description as with other shows. That was a bit of a shocker. We did enjoy the show very much and found the improv abilities of the actors to be excellent. We may be interested in booking Master Improv Classes for a group of teens in the future through this theatre. Very entertaining, high quality fun for an inexpensive night out. There is an amazing book/records store next door to peruse before the show. Eat at "Birds" after your show! They are open late and have great reviews.

I'm encouraged to write a review b/c this is hard to find on Tripadvisor and the last reviews are from awhile ago. I sought this out on our recent trip to LA b/c my kids (age 9, 11 & 13) love Whose Line is it Anyway and this was the only comedy club I found in LA that keeps it clean and is family friendly. The way it works is there's a "referree" who's the Master of Ceremonies and there are two teams of three people each. They compete in different games, winners based on audience applause. It's very interactive with them taking suggestions from the audience and getting audience members up on stage (including our teenage son which was quite a thrill). Small intimate theater. We prebought tickets online. We had the best time and will now seek out the Comedy Sportz in Chicago where we live so we can have this much fun again. Highly recommend!!

Went here for a birthday celebration and enjoyed the ambiance. The comedians were funny, the food was tasty and the music was good. Everybody enjoyed themselves and we even got a chance to converse with the crowd and comedians afterwards.

I haven't seen a lot of comedy in the past few years due to Covid so it was really fun to see a house improv comedy show at The Pack Theater. So happy to see theaters opening up again and it felt really safe in the audience. I attended the house shows Sunday night and caught the improv and sketch teams which were both really funny and great. Everyone I met checking people in and standing outside after the show were really nice and welcoming. I may take a class here and leave a review for that too because it seemed like such a fun place to be.

i really enjoyed it, however i was traveling with someone from another country and they did not understand most of the jokes. that was not the fault of the cast. they were amazing in my opinion.

We went here for 2 Improv shows. Both groups were quite funny and both did a good job creating sketches with the random words that were thrown out. The theater is small so any seat is a good seat. I suggest you try to come on time (some people came in late) otherwise you miss the throw out word and the initial work that goes into thinking of sketch ideas.

This theater seems to have gone downhill over the last 5 years. If you like being seated next to loud, obnoxious, jeering and drunk friends of cast members, getting gleecked on by loud open-mouthed smelly gum-smacking in the row behind you while you let the cast make you cringe with their bad jokes and 2D over-the-top character choices at snail's pace, go here.

We went along to see "Scandal!" on Friday night. The above accurately describes our experience. Things were already not looking good when we arrived to find an empty theater. Tickets were advertised as $5 on the website but were bait-and-switched to $10 when we got to the door.

Inside, the jeering was so loud that we actually had to put our fingers in our ears, and we could barely hear what was going on on stage. It was so bad that we ducked out 3 minutes after the show started (and what we saw in those 3 minutes was not funny).

So we figured we'd ask for a refund. The box office lady didn't seem to know anything about how to do that (to be fair it was her first day) but this was already not a good sign. She asked somebody to fetch Dan, who she said would be able to help us out.

When Dan arrived, the lady told him that we left the show right after it started and were asking for a refund. Without asking us anything at all about why we left the show, he immediately snapped that they had a "strict no-refund policy" and that he wouldn't be able to help us. He claimed all ticks were 'non-refundable' and that this was clearly stated on their website - it is not. Also, we'd bought tickets on the door, and there was no sign anywhere, or mention that tickets were non-refundable.

We protested. He then offered to give us comp tickets for another show. This sounded acceptable (mind you, he still hadn't asked us why we left) until he started to impose conditions. We would have to decide on the spot what show we wanted to see, and at what date and time. They only have a few shows a week and I was going to be out of town anyway, so this wasn't practical. We told him so and he then said he could give us "48 hours" to decide and that we could email him, because he said his "new computer system" wouldn't allow him to make changes after 48 hours. This was obviously not satisfactory (why couldn't he just give us open-ended comp tickets?) and we told him so. He said he couldn't help us further, and we left.

Shortly after, we went back, thinking we'd talk to his manager or boss. Dan turned out to be the owner! We told him we'd never return, and left. He didn't seem to care - at all - and actually seemed kind of happy about the whole thing, which is very stupid, because he never found out why we left, and because I am now writing this.

This has created a lot of bad will against the theater for us and we will never return, as long as Dan is the owner. If you want good comedy, go to IO, Second City or the Groundlings instead. Avoid ACME like the plague.

We can only guess it's changed hands in the last few years, because last time I went back in 2004 it was a much better place. The incredibly small audience should have tipped us off - there were about 10-15 audience members, for a Friday night 10pm show.
