The park includes a nice walking trail that takes you along the tops of the bluffs along the Pacific, with gorgeous views around every bend.
Just do it.... its beautiful and way to walk...the water..earth ...sky...spring blooms had me in an altered state...Mother Nature at her best

This is a great park with short strolls, lots of parking and good views from the front seat of your car.
Very nice views of the ocean, the harbor, the beach and nature.

we love walking at this park with the great ocean views,nice beaches and just great nature around you.
My Aunt was forced to stay up top, but she had some amazing views, friendly squirrels who come and eat from your hand, LOTS of beautiful wild birds, and a comfy park style bench to sit at.

There are many features unique to this park and it is a testament to conservation efforts.
This secluded park,(not easy to spot when driving) was a great experience due to the attractive cliff walks and the fact that there were only two other people and a dog in the park.

What an amazing park! Stopped in for the hike out to Russian Gulch Falls, there's several ways you can get there!
We will return to Russian Gulch State Park and hike the headlands next time.

The park is great, located just across Highway 1 from Van Damme beach which is an easy launch for kayaking the local sea caves and rock gardens.
Good explanations on the Pygmy Forest Nature Trail helped us appreciate that unique and beautiful system.
