Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This cemetery is clean, well maintained with very courteous and professional staff. I needed assistance locating a grave site due to the size of the grounds. Not only did the provide me the information I requested, they had an employee meet with me guide to the correct gravesite.

After an enjoyable breakfast in Bloomington, California headed north to Colton, California. This small community has an interesting place in western folk lore that is not well known to most Californians. Located in the 40-acre Hermosa Garden Cemetery one can find the final resting place of Deputy Marshal Morgan Earp. Marshal Earp was one of the participants involved in the 26 October 1881 shootout at the O.K. Corral in Tombstone, Arizona Territory. This 30 second gunfight between 4 lawmen (Wyatt, Morgan, and Virgil Earp, and Doc Holliday) and the outlaw gang consisting of the Clanton brothers, McLaury brothers, and Billy Claibourne is recorded in history books as the last major gun fight in the West. When the gun fight was over Morgan walked away from the gunfight at the O.K. Corral with only a minor bullet wound. Despite receiving many death threats, Morgan continued to remain in Tombstone. Five months after the gunfight, Deputy Marshal Morgan Earp was shot in the back while was playing billiards in Campbell & Hatch Billiard Parlor in Tombstone. After his death James and Virgil transported his body to Colton, California to be buried where his wife and parents lived. Morgan was initially buried in the Mount Slover cemetery but was reinterred in the Hermosa Garden Cemetery in 1892. Moran Earps grave site can be found at the south end of the cemetery. The tombstone is a simple gray stone inscribed with “US Deputy Marshall / Morgan S. Earp / Born 1851 / Assassinated / Tombstone, Arizona / March 18, 1882. A second plaque at the base of the tombstone, presented by the Colton Police Department recognizes his 125 years of law enforcement services. A remarkable tribute to a fallen peace officer. Having lived in California for many years, I was not aware of this site. If you are interested in history, suggest a quick visit to the grave site.

The museum is located within a Carnegie Grant funded historical building and is open select days and times (so plan accordingly). Having lived in the area previously I was pleasantly surprise by the artifacts, displays, info, and setup within the building. The curator invited my children to ring the old bell located out front. We thoroughly enjoyed learning the area's history, families and businesses that influenced growth, and how Colton came to be. I recommend this little treasure for you, children and those of any age interested in genuine history for history's sake. Best part is admission is free but donations are very graciously accepted.

There's a new brewery in the IE! Family owned & operated, they have some great tasting beer!
Albatross, Hacker Honey Wheat, Bogey Brown, to name a few! They have a "72" Club me and my hubby joined. This is our favorite go to IE brewery now! Get out there and support them, you'll be greeted with a smile and a cold, delicious beer!

My Granddaughter whom is 14 years old and I decided to go to Fiesta Village the day after Christmas. It had just stopped raining so we weren’t sure what was going to be open. Miniature golf and the arcade were the only things open, it was great because it was pretty empty. We actually the only ones on the course. We had so much fun because half the holes were under water. It was a fun day with laughs and special times. There were a number of games in the arcade that weren’t working, but maybe it was just that day. Ended up getting a dipped cone at Dairy Queen which is on their property. They also have Nickelodeon Pizza on their property.

The staff is friendly and helpful. the fairways are a bit rough but the greens are in very good shape well taken care of. The club house is a bit Spartan but clean could use some up dating. There is a driving range and a putting green and it is lighted for night golf. I felt it was a good value for what I paid and will come more often as I don't live to far away.
