I enjoyed it very much. The scenery is absolutely amazing and the castle is full of history. I strongly recommend it to anyone who goes to Romania.

I had 2-hr free time only for lunch in this place amid the one-day Dracula's Castle and Peles Castle from Bucharest. After my lunch at the square, I had actually not much time left. I found it a nice, cozy and beautiful area to walk around. Not crowded with tourists is a plus.

The bus terminal is 5 mins away on foot from the town centre. There's a toilet next to the bus station which is very helpful.

During a Halloween trip to Romania, my wife and I visited Sighişoara, Braşov, Bran, and Sibiu. We really enjoyed what each city had to offer. However, we really enjoyed this remarkable stop on our tour. Perhaps, it was because our tour guide was born and raised in Braşov, perhaps not. We just loved the openess of this main square. There is so much to see and do with lots of shopping and plenty of dining facilities. Make sure your visit to Romania inudes Braşov.

It should be a must see , especially on a sunny day . Ticket was 25 lei (7 euro) , I visited this place on 9 sept 2023 . Place is huge , has toilets , activities , shops . There are a lot of houses exhibited , most are unlocked and furnished .It will take you 4-5 hours to see everything . This is also a good place for a picknick .There is parking nearby and by car it is about 10 min from the center of the city . It is located near the zoo , in fact there is an entry to the zoo straight from the ASTRA museum . Very family friendly .

This bear (and dogs, wolves, horses, owl) sanctuary is off the beaten track. The tour guide was very informative and obviously cared for the bears health and wellbeing. The bears that were close to the barriers still need the human interaction from a life of unnatural living but were also told to leave an area when one of the bears started doing their old tricks so not to upset the bear anymore. All males are castrated so no new bears are born in captivity. Definitely a place to visit when in Romania.

Right in the centre of Timisoara stands this beautiful orthodox cathedral relatively modern as it was built around the beginning of the XX century. It is impossible to miss this building walking in the city centre of the town. The interior of the Cathedral is very cosy and warm. I really liked it

God family time, walking area but good for biking as well; lots of little shops with hot tea, ho chocolate, Kurtos Kalacs. The outer ring has fish ponds, good attraction for small children

This is the most beautiful castel from many I have ever seen in Europe. Wonderful scenery, feels like in a fairytale, definitely worth a visit or more.

Unfortunately, the old clock tower is undergoing a face-lift so we could not see the clock functioning or hears its sounds. However, the rest of it is very interesting and showcases a variety of art and furniture over the years. It is better to have a guide to explain all you are looking at otherwise it may simply seem like a hodgepodge of items being displayed. It was great to get a close up view of the figurines at the top. You can also view the city below from a small window. By no means a must see attraction, but it was included in our tour package and only takes about an hour to see everything.
